I really want to see Ryu’s stage from Street Fighter 3 Second Impact. I also wouldn’t mind seeing Chun-Li SF2 stage brought back. Along with Sakura’s SFA2 stage and Moonlight Eclipse from SSF4
I’m not opposed to making changes to gameplay as long as it’s an addition and beneficial to the character’s arsenal.
Ryu for example just got ass fucked and got useless shit to compensate.
Same happened in Ultra SF4 where they gave him the ability to cancel his j.mp (which wasn’t that good as an air to air to begin with) into tatsu.
Who the fuck wanted that shit or cared about it and how did that help him compete with other characters who actually got good buffs and were better than him from the start?
Same dumb shit in SFV where they give him shit nobody asked for that isn’t really beneficial to his game plan, while gutting everything else that was good about him.

Why’s it that so many characters can use their v-skill willy nilly to build v-gauge while Ryu is like: “Oh yeah if he keeps up this pattern, I can maybe use parry here but when I guess wrong I get cc’ed/conterhit into a full combo for trying to look fancy”?
Definitely need the Ryu style Japanese rooftop stage at some point (whether its the SF2 or SF3 version is whatevs).
I like Beautiful/Morning Mist Bay and fhe Underpass from SF4. I doubt anyone else cares about those stages tho because SF4’s in that spot where it isn’t old enough to have “retro” cred yet so nobody really nostalgias over it too hard. Also as much as I want the windswept field from Alpha Birdie’s trash makes it pretty much impossible.
Zero Dawn is really good. Zelda was amazing. I’m doing a second play through on Zelda from the sofa in handheld when I’m not on Zero Dawn. I thought Zero Dawn wouldn’t hold up after Zelda, I’m happy to be proved worong. It’s great. I hope Guerrilla make another Killzone but they deserve huge credit/plaudits for Zero Dawn. One of the best games this generation.
It’s been a pleasure to play two polished as fuck fun games. Two worlds to get lost in. That’s how games should be made. Capcom wouldn’t have a clue. Like a Citroën driver looking at an interstellar spacecraft.
I can’t remember who said it on here, but someone said they’d like Nintendo to get the SF IP. I understand the fear of guest characters but just look at how Nintendo can polish a game. I’d love SF to get the same care Nintendo put in to Mario, Zelda or Mario Kart etc.
Never noticed that on pc, I just didn’t like picking the stage even though it looked good, because I don’t like having distracting shit in the background when playing fighting games.
I’m one of those people that plays training stage, or stuff like empty Kanzuki Estate and stuff. I prefer functionality over looks.
The thing about Capcom’s lack of communication skills is they keep saying “Character reveal soon” or “In the coming weeks”. What people want is an exact date so they have something concrete to look forward to. Soon and In the coming weeks are too ambiguous.
Dammit. Both my favourite fighting franchises, Tekken and SF have such piss poor communication with their fan bases. Yet a game I don’t care about, Injustice 2, has such great communication with fans that I am going to purchase IJ2 just to support it. Am getting Rev 2 also.
