When it got to 3 episodes to go I was like, there’s no way they can wrap this up in 3 episodes, then 2…then one…and I’m like? The Key? The dad…WTF is happening.
I didn’t realise it was still going, I thought it was an old show.
It looks really good and definitely looks like Marvel. The colours could use a little more vibrancy. That’s my only small complaint. I’ll just turn up the contrast and colours on my TV to max then. =)
Graphically I think the game looks kind of plain. I really like the way the 2d sprite games look over the 3d models but it’s probably not practical for them to go that route.
I must say they really did a good job in maintaining the suspense. Each episode adds another piece of the puzzle and makes you want to watch the next one just to understand wtf is going on.
I dunno if you already watched S2 but right from the get go you get a massive revelation about the walls… which I won’t spoil of course.
MvC Infinite has the same soulless art-style that’s been used in hundreds of mobile tie-ins that came out for every movie and TV-show and BluRay release of said movies and TV-shows and probably also whenever they released a new action figure of some sort. It has no personality whatsoever and the Supers look hilariously bad.
I don’t get it. Why rush this out in 2017 with an obviously tight budget when they could just have build a game of the same scope as UMvC3 to come out next year when the Infinity Stone saga comes to theaters? Would have been a lot more expensive to develop, sure, but it also would have sold like crazy.
At this point I doubt I’ll even buy it. Infinity Stones reminds me too much ofSFxT BS as does the DLC announced so far. Add to that a very bland presentation and reportedly dumbed down gameplay and I don’t see how it could appeal to me.
