Yes, that nerf could have been for a good reason, with all the other reworking they have done. Not to mention we can’t really knock it until we play it, I also believe Seth Killianwhen he says “we will prefer the SSF4 cast over there old counter parts.”
and from the latest interview with seth the man states
In the EX Series (or at least EX2+, that’s the only one I played), Bison’s throw (the back throw he has now) could be followed up with a slide for an extra hit. So I say why the hell not, give it to him again! Make him recover near instantly after the leg-toss of his opponent and let him slide his way over there after his opponent bounces off the ground, hit 'em an extra time and set himself up for some mix-ups. Hell, let him follow up with EX Psycho Crusher too!
Something that would help out Bisons game immensely.
Psycho Banish - (DPM+P)
Bison does a downwards flaming punch. Hits as an overhead and
strength of punch button used determines strength and number of hits
done. Has short range though, so do it as a surprise move. It can
negate projectiles though. Can be used as a combo ender, but does
not knock down.
I would love for it to be and Overhead in ssf4 if implemented.
i will scream this into the mic everytime i use psycho punisher
“This hand of mine is burning purple! It’s loud roar tells me to grasp victory! Here I go! Erupting Psycho FINGER!” and when bison pulls his hand out HEAT END!
Yep,is like Claw dfMK(in SF4) it SEEM an overhead but is’nt
Anyway i like his potential to be a quick powerfull (in CvsS was 160 damage) combo ender without need charge,i mean things like
near standing HP -> Psycho Banish
near standing MP -> Psycho Banish
near standing MK -> Psycho Banish
down+MP -> Psycho Banish
down+MK -> Psycho Banish
And also his use of fireballs destroyer and build meter are good things,but main reason is the one write above: it can make possible some new powerfull close range short combos
Then,if is also an overhead it will be even better,but is’nt surely the main reason because i hope to see it in SSF4
