What would you want to gimp his s.RH?

Well… they should AT LEAST give him his cape back during his intro. Just doing it during the rival scene isn’t enough!

What if cr. Fierce launched so you can ultra? The move isnt good enough to where its OP but it hits pretty often. More than j.Strongs these days. There are some tricky ways to land it and in some situations it can be used as an AA. If it can still go into ultra on trade that would be amazing.

Though I think slight damage upped and a faster psycho is good enought.

as for PC, it needs to be faster, better recovery (or go through an opponent if blocked and strong enough), and needs a better hitbox…dont know if i care enough about it having armor break.

I agree with the general ideas about DR/SD…FA pretty much takes them both out of the game, not to mention other characters attacks changing their hitbox properties

I am also thinking we’re gonna get Psycho Explosion as his 2nd ultra (which could be interesting with his teleport)

A fireball projectile and air warp is an awesome idea.

  1. Better tracking and faster HS.
  2. EX HS damage reduced.
  3. If u HS and go to the other side, Skull diver turns around (like in SF2)
  4. Faster PC
  5. Devil’s Reverse shenanigans from SF2 (crossup, etc)
  6. Fake Slide
  7. Skull Diver hitbox increased a little bit
  8. His super should be useful so the player actually has to think wheter to save meter for super or burn it on ex moves
  • I know those are a lot of buffs and almost no nerfs, but Capcom can always reduce a little damage or a little priority to compensate for startup speed or recovery. In other words, make more Bison’s moves useful so we have to think a little more when playing with him.

lol wrong, his st.RH now is fine, it just needs more priority against some character jump-ins…

he needs a 40 hit ultra that is just him sHKing your opponent in the face repeatedly

His s.mk is basically his VST s.rh and s.rh in SF4 is actually better overall for this game. Giving him his ST rh would be a nerf.

His RH is fine the way it is just use his MK, yeah it doesn’t have as good as a impact but it still gets the job done…

If they nerf his S.RH I’m gonna cry. It’s one of the best normals in the game.

Sharing my toughts:

Bison Warp DP+3P going for the other side of the screen (not necessarily corner) would help a lot against Zangief, balancing the matchup a bit (Retreat using Devil reverse and teleport if needed)
I don’t know if this would make him much stronger…

Besides that, I only wish higher blockstun for Psycho Crusher (2-3 is fine). LP could give frame advantage this way, which could help a lot for more offense.

Slightly bigger hitbox for headstomp… so he won’t miss a chunli that pressed HP.

Decreasing EX Head Press’s damage to balance things out would be cool. I wouldn’t like for him to became unbalanced. Currently, he has many 5-5 matchups. This is good and should stay.

I loved that move!! They should give it to him!!

I prefer the Psycho Shot over the Psycho Banish anyday; the latter was only amazing in a custom combo.

be careful on wanting to add frame advantage especially on specials. Its so easy for something like that to break certain match ups. As it stands all characters that need EX moves for invul frames or characters with no invul frames will be fucked over big time if he had this implemented. for ex: if i where to go to lets say a local tourney and i chose my main Vega and I get paired against a Bison player and he knows his frame data and match ups it doesnt matter how much i know or how much better i am because im going to end up in the corner faster now that Bison has + frames on PC and once in the corner i can easily get perma locked and to get out im going to eat a lot of shit getting out. And this is in a local tourney, now imagine a big tourney? And getting paired against what is considerd a top player you could essentially die just figuring a way out because he is mixing it up and scoring a knockdown with ticks, frame traps, etc.

edit: btw by fixing something aginst x match up you can break y or z match up in the process. and for the bison warp teleporting way behind x character seems great against zangief, but how will that affect characters that have an already hard time getting in against Bison?

bison fixes are easy:

fix HS hitbox
fix neutral jMP
fix PC somehow (even a SMALL fix would make it versatile, and give a reason to use rather than SK)
fix DR/SD (crossover seems to be the general consensus, as well as fixing characters attacks causing them to dodge it)
cHP needs to be quicker

that’s pretty much it. None of that is really game changing (with the possible exception of PC fixes), and is needed

as for actually game changing, his teleport needs to have full screen ability. back + KKK needs to be full screen teleport…dunno about making forward + PPP go full screen though, as that would make exPC obsolete for escaping the corner.

I’d change Teleport to DP+P/K instead of PPP/KKK, but that may just be me.

With the exception of neutral jump MP, I’d leave all of BIson’s normals alone if I got the special changes I wanted. I’ll be honest: I would prefer old s.HK because it was NOT the same as s.MK, and Bison’s s.MK in this isn’t as good as s.MK or s.HK was in the past (it has deceptively weak range). s.HK’s not nearly as good anti-air as it looks, and indeed is only considered an amazing move in Bison’s arsenal because all his other moves are so shit. But if I get my specials buffed/working properly, I wouldn’t need to change his normals.

I would like his old rapid fire s.LP though.

other stuff:

You’re not going to see Psycho Shot unless you want Psycho Crusher as a super only. They’ll never put those two moves together. He doesn’t need Shot anyway and it messes up his proper playstyle.

And for the guy who asked: It would be nice, but no to air teleport. Fix his other mobility options. He doesn’t need another aerial manouver.

imo there’s only a **few **things he **needs **.

  • More damage output. Even though Bison is a safe character, it would really help if he did more damage off of his combos and normals. Not too much extra damage tho. Just a little to help out.

  • Make cr. hp start up a little faster

  • Fix tracking for normal headstomp and keep current tracking for ex headstomp. I say keep tracking for ex cuz it already does a lot of damage

  • Make it so he has st skull diver and devil reverse in that you can choose to go either way instead of it being fixed

My **wants **?

  • Faster start up and recovery on normal pc, but don’t make it stupid fast. I was thinking it should be punishable if you don’t space it correctly. Please don’t tell me “Why the fuck are you complaining about it? Just use ex pc.” He doesn’t need it, but it doesn’t make sense to have a special move that is useless most of the time. Especially when its like his trademark move

  • Fake slide

  • If they implement alternate intros or if they change intros, have bison teleport on screen and take off his cape. That’d be so badass :hitit: No matter who you are, you can’t deny this!
