DOA4 still isn’t gonna be any better than VF4. Graphics and a poorly copied engine will only get you so far. And then VF5 will >>>>>>> DOA4 a few months after. Then DOA5 will for some reason remove floating juggle combos.

my internet time is limited for the moment so im gonna ask 2 quick questions:
- who’s currently top tier (and why if you’re feeling generous)
- is iroha good? she seems kinda meh. her stand C isnt nearly as fast as it looks; meaty fireball mixups dont seem very awesome at first glance; her super sucks and does no damage
maybe,
-yumeji - tools (air, long, close).
-ukyo - all round good, s.KICK->multislash/super is too good.
-zankuro - great normals, too good damage on his bnb.
there were others mentioned to be top though i cant remember them.
the following are characters ive seen played really well who may or may not make top/high tier due to being too technical or one dimensional,
-earthquake (has great mixup, crazy good s.K, easy to lockdown though, weak air game)
-hanzo (is too good and simple to boot in the right hands, technical though)
-enja (the damage he does in the right groove can guarantee half bar hits pretty well, his slide kick move is hard to guarantee though, easily locked down by strong fbers)
-amakusa (tend to think hes top tier but doesnt get used enough, hes got the best range in the game prolly and plays really good keepaway, his air ball attack is hard to read maybe even impossible and his low high fb game is great, missed potential?)

its sorta weird too in that you can move through it safely at first but then it solidifies, ppl may have found a way around it crippling genans game…

Iroha is excellent. She doesn’t do much damage, but she is probably the best keepaway character in the game (apart from maybe Amakusa). Her down+kick I believe has a really good frame advantage–so good that you can typically spam it at close range until your opponent is forced to back up. Also, after okizeme, you can typically cancel into her knife throw move which makes her safe and puts you half a screen away.
All of the Iroha players I have seen player her in Ten, so I imagine that Ten is her best suited spirit/groove.
I don’t know, I saw some tournament matches where some cat was using her real nicely. I just want to know if her cat-scratch move is any good any more, cause in all her videos, no one really used it. Does anybody know?
Well is her combo starter good? I would imagine that would be nasty if you do d+K into combo starter/throw/overhead mixup if the frame advantage is that good. :wow:
I’m basically a noob to SS since I never owned a Neo-Geo and was never really into Snk games but this one really has cought my attention. I have a question, I’ve seen the characters and have taken a liking to Jubei and Ukyo. I’ve hearn you guys talk about Ukyo but nothing about Jubei. Is he really unpopular or he just sucks or what. Also who is the Sagat lookin guy in the last row near the right. He looks kinda cool
