Ended up getting Hunting Party & Harsh Times…I post up my comments tomorrow

Harsh Times is terrible. I have never heard of Hunting Party. Why don’t you just get good old movies that you have not seen instead of just getting new turds?

Friend of mine just linked me to a movie post of this, WTF is this shit!

I love cinema ticket prices here. It’s like 10 ringgit, which is, I dunno, 2US$?

I enjoy Harsh Times…definitely had friend relationships like that back in the day

Bale was good but I wanted the money I spent renting it back. I turned it off about halfway through so I could watch Alien on one of the movie channels for the 5000th time.

ended up watching a tremors marathon between yesterday/today

first in HD was pretty good quality, there was a lot of edge enhancement tho which is annoying

surprisingly 2, 3, and 4 are good sequels. I’d say 3 is the worst, especially the CGI they used. 4 was pretty good, but it put in some plot holes. I’d rank them 1, 4, 2, 3

Anyone know if the TV series is any good? Seems like the idea would get old quick, about co existing with the albino graboid. There’s no DVD, but you can download them from amazon.

the first movie has a one hour making of documentary thats pretty cool. i really liked the parts where they talked about making the graboids and using them in the movie. it drags in the beginning, but the second half is much better.

I’ve only seen the first two. I saw that Fred Ward wasn’t in the third and I gave up on the series right then and there.

I saw Man on the Moon for the first time last week, I really enjoyed it. There will never be another comedian like Andy Kaufman, he lived his life and performed his comedy for himself and no one else.

yea michael gross ends up being the main character for 3/4

in 4 its set in the old west, but michael gross plays his great grandfather

That actually sounds kind of… well, I won’t say good, but that dude rules anyway. His insane collection of weapons is the best part of the series.

he never used a gun in the beginning of 4, so its pretty funny to see him go from scared to use a gun to a gun nut at the end of the film

^^ Warner black history month DVD sale, with classics like house part 2/3??

i dunno why, but it makes me laugh

just watched ā€œday of the deadā€. nick cannon in zombie movie = EPIC fail

and harsh times was pretty good…dont hate !

Hmm I just noticed this thread and it seems like a pretty good one. Don’t know how I missed it.

So I recently signed up with Netflix, which I must say is awesome, and I’ve watched a few movies the past month.

Tonight I saw Munich, pretty good. Not incredible, but a good movie.

The last few weeks I’ve seen:

Mission Impossible 3 - Best MI out of the 3 in my opinion.

Greatest Game Ever Played - Alot better than I expected.

Cowboy Bebop the Movie - Shit was cracked so they are sending me another one tomorrow.

I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry - Funny and Jessica Biel is hot as fuck.

Paprika - Good art, weird ass story.

Eastern Promises - Viggo Mortensen is a badass. Good movie.

Employee of the Month - I used to hate Dane Cook, but after seeing this movie he’s not bad. Funnier than I thought it was gonna be.

Netflix is the shit. Right now I have the 3 DVD plan, not sure if I should up it to a higher amount of DVD’s, I was thinking 5 but I don’t know if it’ll be worth it.

employee of the month with dane cook is the only movie i couldn’t make it through to the half way point before turning it off in a long time. guess i’m not a fan of dane cook. where the heck did he come from anyway? i never heard of him then all of a sudden he’s a superstar

employee of the month with matt dillon is awesome, too bad not many people have seen it

came home drunk last night and popped in Ghost World for the first time probably since college. Got really depressed at how Seymour-like I have become. Thora was damn fine when she kept her weight down. Both those girls had huge ass tits

I thought Cujo was the worst book I was ever going read, but unfortunately, someone let me borrow their copy of Atlas Shrugged.

I turned it off after like 20 minutes. DC is fucking lame and annoying in general.

ā€œin the valley of elahā€ is really good btw…just watched now. tommy lee jones always delivers  highly recommended http://beta.rottentomatoes.com/m/in_the_valley_of_elah/

My movies this weekend

Harsh Times - Dont know why you didn’t like the film, it was good performance by the two leads…I actually know quite a few people who are like this…8 out of 10

Employee of the Month (Bluray) Jessica Simpson boobs were nice in this one but damn her face not looking so good on bluray…As for the movie it was pretty lame but enough for me to finish watching it…4 out 10

Dead or Alive - This was actually a fun movie to watch…Those of you who dont like it must be gay…The women were fucking hot & movie did not take itself seriously…Even Aoki is somewhat decent looking…The only problem was Lei Feng was some fucking ugly asian chick, i mean she had like a small 2 minute role, they could have at least put some random hot asian chick to fulfill my yellow fever…6.5 out 10
