yea, i read that they started a couple days ago and they’re looking to film in feb/march. hopefully they will do it because no one will care about the release otherwise.
i think its a form of gambling because if the movie is a hit people will buy the original (which is why TCSM got a huge dvd when the remake was popular) but if the remake sucks no one will care
friday the 13th trailer tonight at 5pm pacific
better be epic
cage could of went and been a serious actor and probably won an oscar or something, but instead he decided to just be a watered down action hero and make the big bucks. can’t really blame him
they are only releasing part 1 in blu ray for some god unknown reason. I’m sure they are planning on super dipping and i will have to buy the blu ray box set after I buy everything individually. At least Part 3 is in 3D
i wish they would release a real jason box set. that other one was crappy cramming 2 movies onto 1 disk
can’t they work out some deal with new line for 9/10/vs freddy too
thats why we’ll never see a halloween box set in the US, too many different companies ownt he rights to different movies
the trailer was alright, i didn’t like that jump slash move he did.
i was listening to fangoria radio (decent show, but the hosts suck they get good guests though) and savini said its pretty good, so i believe him because i’ve heard him trash movies before even if he’s a part of them
Yeah, that’s a personal favorite of mine. It’s just a really fun, violent, over the top flick, that never takes itself seriously. That was one of the first BD’s I bought.
just found about this movie,
Limited Engagement, One Week Only starting this friday 12/12 in beverly hills
some are sayin its like an animated “Synecdoche, New York”
I’ve been watching Superman II: the Richard Donner Cut lately. It’s good fun, but at the same time, it’s a sad reminder of what might have been. Had Superman I and II been originally completed as intended, without any producer interference, I firmly believe that they’d collectively form the definitive superhero saga on film. It would have been better than Iron Man, better than the Spider-Man movies, and better than The Dark Knight.
when i saw the trailers i knew it was gonna be manly and violent. but i didnt expect the wackyness that ensued and i was glad i didnt know. it had a more comical sense of crank to it.
