Two great movies i’ve seen recently…
Inside Job and World’s Fastest Indian…
Just watched Prince of Space last night, one of my all-time favorite MST3K’s, as well as a film I would easily rank in my top five films EVAR, Sleuth from 1972 starring Lawrence Olivier and Michael Caine. I absolutely adore that film, and it was refreshing to see it again.
Tonight we watch Werewolves on Wheels which I am sure will be an instant classic in our minds.
my fave mst3k eps in order would be:
1.) manos
2.) mitchell
3.) deathstalker 3
4.) angel’s revenge
5.) zombie nightmare
Manos actually physically pains me to watch. It feels like an eternity watching that 90-minute heap.
But I must admit, Torgo is a gangsta.
i justed watched Oldboy couple of weeks ago and since then seen it like 5 times…
this movie is the ownage…suprisingly good for a korean film, now i want to see sympathy for mr. vengence, the directors other movie…
im outi
Roberth
is it just me or “stay alive” is one of THE worse movie ever ?? so retarded I wasnt sure if it was supposed to be funny or scary…
Thanks Gorath…I’m quite the fanatic, and have seen ‘criterion collection’ dvds, just didn’t know what the deal is…
pretty interesting about the whole collector mentality tho, I’m just stoked to have my fave films in my collection, I don’t care about an outside opinion, especially that of the distributor…
granted, I like the best I can get, but I’ll settle for whatever I can get when I just want the movie in my collection…
Squirters 2 is excelent, Seymoure Butts at his finest.
Anyone ever watch “Remo Williams: The Adventure begins”? I loved this movie when I was younger, still do. Apparently, it was based on a book called “The Destroyer” that was a little more intense than the movie. They’re making a movie based on The Destroyer now…
I’m excited to see how this pans out.
thats funny, i just saw remo williams on tv the other day…
Saw Recently:
Luck Number Slevin = not bad. good (not great) movie
Nobody Knows = sad ass movie i liked it a lot
Munich = good was really long though
16 Blocks = eh
Inside Man = eh
Revolver = i’m still confused lol
History of Violence = wish there was more to it
What I want to see:
High Score
Also does anyone know this move called Yamikaze or something? I can’t remember the exact title but it was french movie with guys who like climb and jump (think the old nike commercial where that dude goes up the stairs with like a couple of jumps running from the duck?)
Please help me out with the title of this movie. I saw and like 3 years ago and i want to see it again.
I’m going to watch rounders again, it’s a pretty cool movie.
i just wanted to say, if you have never seen dog day afternoon, go rent it asap. this is hands down al pacinos finest performance. better even than the godfather movies. i respect his acting greatly in those, but they don’t compare to the realism of his character in dog day. that movie just fucking rocks.
Your Movie Database
You can discuss and post your favorite movies…and I think put your own review on other people’s favorite movies.
I stumbled upon this site…anyone in this site?
this weekend watched memoirs of a geisha and bourne identity (im a bit late, i know).
i thought geisha was pretty meh…them speaking english bugged me
i also watched “just friends” which actually wasnt too bad. somehow i think ive developed a soft spot for ryan reynolds…
Why? The book was written in English by a guy from Tennessee.
lemme ask you something, was this of your own choice or your gf’s? i find that i watch tons of movies i’d never even consider cuz of my gf…
yes i have to watch all sorts of crappy (the wedding date, bridget jones), boring (pride and prejudice), and occasionally good (love actually) romantic comedies these days.
but i took her to a cannibal holocaust screening so its all good
