is it good? gonna get the dvd regardless, just wondering if it should go to the front of back of the pile of movies to watch
if you can only see one i’d see tropic thunder - its a more complete movie. pineapple express was funnier i though, but it was just like a lot of funny scenes strung together by weak connections. the scenes in tropic thunder flowed really nice.
i finally saw midnight meat train at a $1 theater couple nights ago. bloody and awesome movie. can’t believe they didn’t bring this to regular theaters.
mirrors was kind of depressing bc

Tropic Thunder was a crackup. I don’t know that I’d have really been missing out if I hadn’t seen it, but it was worth the time and money to see so many prominent actors basically taking the piss on themselves.
RDJ obviously remains a national treasure, but the dark horse of Tropic Thunder is Tom Cruise.
i ended up getting the wizard of gore in the mail on sat a little early and the movie is just as confusing as the original with all the twists and crappy editing effects. the main actor kip pardue was really bad too
the killing gene (it was called w delta z but they renamed it for some reason). it was alright, they’re marketing it as a movie like saw except they don’t really show anything at all. didn’t really like it though melissa george is still banging.
in the mail i got prom night 2008 on blu ray too, getting ready to watch that crap.
running pretty bad this weekend with movie choices
I saw the trailer for the new supposed “representation of a generation” film College. The sad thing is that a similar film (which IMHO is far superior) was released in the 90’s called PCU with a similar premise and far more wit than the comedy that American Pie has come to sow.
the story has so much potential it seems and they just blew it.
there’s a good doc on the disk called jumper uncensored or something where it shows doug liman just shitting on the script and spending insane amount of money in reshoots and delaying everything for months. the guy shot a couple weeks worth of footage and fired everyone except for one actor and recast it. pretty ridiculous.
wanted to watch Gattaca but my blu ray disk i bought didn’t work for some reason. first time that happened never had that problem with dvd
thinking about mirrors, that scene where he pulls the nun out of the monastery with a gun is one of the top scenes i ever seen i think
The man I was an hour and a half ago is not the man I am now.
I think I have - no, I know I have just seen the most disturbing movie I have ever sat through alone in my apartment at 11:30pm on a sunday.
I need to go to bed but I can’t. My head is too fucked up, thoughts reeling.
This was seriously liked 3 movies in one. You are watching it and think you have it all figured out, then you notice you’re only 40 minutes into the movie…and you’re going to sit through another act before the shit REALLY hits the fan.
Tears appear in my eyes as I think back on what they witnessed.
Somewhere along the way this became a religious experience…and I have been martyred. [/details]
I was at a b-day party today & some dude put in a movie called Mutant Chronicles…Shit was pretty gory & had cool look to it…Imagine Sin City mixed w/ Resident Evil…Pretty campy film but had some decent actors Thomas Jane & Hellboy…Even John Malkovich had a small role…Did this come out in theaters or straight to DVD? Never heard of this movie before…
