Stallone also co-writes and produces most of his movies

and occassionally directs

guy is a beast

hgh for the win

It will eventually catch up to him.

Dang that’s awesome!:amazed:

Stallone has decent dramatic roles under his wing that Arnold never even attempted… but Arnold’s near-20-year reign of badassery can’t really be topped. Who else greets his best friend with a standing arm wrestle while calling his mother a bitch to his face.

AND? there is nothing to ā€œcatch upā€. he lived long enough and made something out of his life. whatever it takes to be rich and famous. Arnold admitted to taking anabolic steroid too. it is what it is.

Fuck that Stallone would kill Arnold in an arm wrestling match…

Turns hat around

I’m not ticked off. In fact, I loved it, not so much because I like cliffhangers (I’m usually not crazy about them) but because I really like the new direction that 007 is taking with Daniel Craig and the fact that the story continues implies that they’ll continue the new trend they’re setting for 007.

My favorite Bond movie ever.

so ive been making my way through the oeuvre of phoebe cates and I’m on this one called Date With an Angel that I taped off of showtime and I’m watching the title credits and it says written and directed by Tom McLaughlin and I’m like, that can’t be THE tom mclaughlin can it? and sure enough it is, of Jason Lives and One Dark Night fame. So now I have seen every Tom McLaughlin movie (he wrote all of em too).

On an unrelated note, sig have you seen an old 70s movie called Joe?

im just curious what does this have to do with anything??? you do realize he was a professional bodybuilder right???

like no professional bodybuilder needs to ā€œadmitā€ to it, like thats what they do…

nah never heard of it, is it any good

on an unrelarted note the jig is up/shit hit the fan/lame cliche so i think this is the end

so if it is bye guys and i love you esp p gorath and angry liberal

baghead looks interesting. i actually like the name baghead - anyways, looks like it could either be very interesting or cliche. i’ll give it a shot on pg’s recommendation.

edit: heat, movie looked interesting but it’s sporting a pg-13 rating…c’mon, with a line like ā€œi have a very specific set of skillsā€¦ā€, you gotta have a hard R…

I respectfully disagree. I thought it was great. And weird. One of the better movies I’ve seen recently. I picked it up on DVD a few weeks ago, and just got around to watching it today.

i didnt even see the rating, i honestly dont pay attention to ratings…it just looked cool to me…

anyway im not sure if i posted this before, but the director of city of god and constant gardener is coming out with a new movie called blindness, looks tight…

i always forget that the constant gardener and city of god were made by the same person. looks very interesting.

Just watched Juno for the first time. It’s not much of a BD purchase, but it’s a really good movie. Didn’t realize how awesome of a year 2007 was for film until I got to see No Country, There Will Be Blood and now Juno. All my friends wanted to watch were Transformers, Pirates, 300 and Spider-Man. Hell, we even saw I Am Legend. Didn’t get to see these sleepers until actually buying them on Blu-Ray.

I really liked how un-cheesy the dialogue was. Usually, in films of any genre, the characters’ llines generally seem like they’re specifically designed to convey to the audience what the director wanted to convey, to a point where the lines sacrifice believability and start to lose the illusion of cinema. Even the good, oscar-worthy movies suffer from this. In Juno, even though the teenage slang is totally over the top, the dialogue seems less manufactured and more natural, while at the same time, it doesn’t completely lose you along the way.

I found the movie to be hilarious, and I’m normally used to (and a big fan of) slapstick Stiller/Ferrell type humor. I haven’t seen any other of Ellen Page’s performances, so it’s hard for me to judge how far out of character she had to be to play Juno, but she was pretty good in this movie.

if you want to see a disturbing performance of hers, see hard candy. plus, you get to see her overly toned stomach…

thanks for whoever recommended californication

show is epic

showtime knows what they’re doing

…that would be me

i thought we lost you…

i actually never watched ā€œjohn from cincinnattiā€, i sent it back and moved californication to the top of my list.

as a sexual deviant i think the show will be right up your alley lib
