The SRK Lounge v. 6.0: Random nonsense and tomfoolery

They should have had him be clean shaven if he was going to be bald lol.

Ratm just updated their background to what looks like could be a new album cover and changed their profile pic.

Comment section full of people still just now figuring out their political stance :joy::joy::joy:

Should’ve just gave the role back to Jai White, tbh.

Karl Urban should’ve been Kano

I get it, but as a long time curmudgeon I maintain that if they truly wanted to rage against the machine - they’d eschew profits from the exploitative record industry and donate all proceeds to charitable causes.

You either go full Newman’s Own, or you die the villain.

Uh

If they were more active (i.e. still putting out new music) I’d say they’re not doing enough but seeing as their last album was released 20 years ago I feel this is adequate.

The most spineless cowardly shitbag.

But I ain’t surprised. They have no self-awareness.

It’s rare to say this but I truly believe their music was timeless. Whether that’s good or bad is up to you. But we are still fighting for the exact same shit they sang about when I was 12.

Definitely not rare about Rage haha

Nice!

Well then, I stand corrected.

I mean for me with music. It’s unfortunate that it’s true for rage. If anything time gave more validity to their words, people didn’t understand how true they were in the late 90s/early 2000s

Who’s good with mortal kombat lore?

Is that scorpions descendant with Kung Lao/Liu Kang?

I thought scorpion had no descendants because sub zero killed his clan through manipulation from Quan chi. I thought the only person who had a descendant from the ninjas was sub zero and his brother.

It’s not rare. music with social commentary about issues that have never been addressed will always be timeless.
Ex:
John Lennon - Imagine
The beatles - revolution
Nwa - fuck the police
Marvin Gaye - what’s going on?
David Bowie - afraid of americans
Pink floyd - the wall (whole album)
Cranberries - zombie
Etc…

Meant me personally lol. Alot of music Ive listened to felt very timely and now feels dated on social commentary

This is a lot of what Cyberpunk 2077 is about. Johnny Silverhand laments that 50 years ago he nuked Arasaka headquarters and now he’s back and the tower was rebuilt and nothing changed. It’s all the exact same as it was 50 years ago.

There is Takahashi Takeda (MK X), Kenshi’s son who Scorpion raised and trained as a Shirai Ryu
