Instagram, despite my love for Brazilian wheyfus and their brilliant surgeons (honestly - when it comes to sheer aesthetics can Brazil be topped), has just become a dumpster fire. I used to prefer it for viewing the illustrations of artists I admire, but then they forced the algorithm and advertising on us and just ruined the experience.
All it would have taken is a radio box to check to opt out of algorithm timeline “curation.” Just show me all the shXt I haven’t seen since I last logged in, like it used to be. It’s the difference between going on a boring ass art museum field trip as a kid, or going to the art museum as an adult and getting to spend as much time as you like exploring and finding the things that resonate with you.
i hope i never see this when booting up Genshin Impact, cuz all i do is gamble for new characters in that gatcha game.
i do know genshin is banned in some countries because the gatcha system is considered gambling.

I think after I lose all this weight from my medication, I will be more secure in my tastes in clothes. I like some Goth and mostly Androgynous clothing, where I can forge the right outfits to express my sexuality in a way. Though, I still favor the roots from my own African culture. I will get to that, at an African store in the French Quarter in my city New Orleans I know when the pandemic is over.
My Italian great grandfather had some nice eyes, which I’ve inherited and that being born with very light skin and blue eyes, then green eyes, and now hazel that changes colors and light bronze skin. Kinda weird. I’ve learned to like myself over the years and wondered about the full extent of other nationalities from my family tree.
There’s a running gag/meme on Twitter where someone said on December 21st, black people will gain superpowers because we’re the original man. I’m all for it!
