You’re not the only one…but then again, pure 2D usually supersedes everything else in my eyes, as well.
slightly OT, but youd think the latest edition of Arcadia would have some more info on SF4 no?

E = EX button, it’s used to activate individual character’s abilities.
There are two gauges in this game, Hit Gauge and Barrier Gauge.
Hit gauge is for offense, and Barrier gauge is for defense.
Characters
Laguna, the Bloodedge
His EX power is Soul Eater that drains opponent’s life gauge.
Jin Kisaragi <- Did I spell it right?
His EX power is Frost Bite that freezes opponent’s movement.
Noel Vermillion <- Not sure either.
She(?) is the subordinate of Jin, her Chain Revolver ability varies depend on different inputs.
FINALLY a sequel to XX. So good to see that they’ve broken their sfII syndrome.
Well, with KOF, SF4, smash and this, doesn’t look like 2-d fighters are going anywhere anytime soon.
From the same people who made GG, and it takes place within the same storyline. You sir, are a fucking genius.
Just had to point that out.
man, this is sweet! i’m not so keen on the character designs at this point but ill take anything lol … i hope its fun and inventive at least
Exactly. So tired of hearing people whine about X game being different/too different/not this/not that. Just be happy that we have so many NEW 2-D fighters coming out. At this point, at least ONE of them will probably suit you, so why complain?
Is that site you’re citing for the PS3 info authentic? No offense, but it doesn’t look like it’s on the same playing field as some thing like Souta House, at first glance.
Damn, aftering playing GG2, I really thought they were jumping the shark.
Hell yeah for this game! :woot:
Absolutely not… sure! :looney:
Hey, I wasn’t putting you on blast, I just asking… ^^;
I mean, when I saw how that same list still had a listing for the likes of “KOF: Maximum Impact 3” (SNK) and “Super Robot Series” (Banpresto), the same kind of crap that usually had things like “Psychic Force 3” listed as well, I just had to raise an eyebrow…
I say we start a letter-writing campaign to compel Arc to bring this over here on 360
Noel looks really cute…i have a thing for berets i think…>_<
That’s very unlikely…just buy the import.
This game oozes awesome. I just hope this goes alongside the GG series though, and not just replace it. Either way, I’m ecstatic
This sounds like Rumble Fish (offense and defense gauge) combined with Arcana (minus the Arcanas, but the EX abilities sound something like Arcana powers).
Does BB??? look authentic to you? Lol! Anyway, don’t believe anything in that list! Since it’s on Type X2, I guess they will have a hard time to do a perfect port. On the bright side it has a good chance to be released on every console.
I suppose you’re on point there. :wgrin:;;
And again, more exposure for a new franchise can only be a good thing. Who knows, maybe ASW will even get around to supporting the PC market again, for like the first time in 5 years.
I see there is a different button layout. I guess I can assume that it will be a totally different game than the GG we are playing now I hope. Even after this comes out I want GGAC to still be a game in the Togeki lineup.
All I can say is Slayer better making a fucking cameo. Dude’s immortal so why not?
