I partially disagree here. Balrog was indeed confirmed playable, which likely confirms the release order more than disproves it.
Unless the guy from the UK was straight up trolling, Guile is definitely the release this month. Balrog being finished already means it makes sense that he’d be the next one released after Guile. Since he’s already done, it gives Capcom some breathing room to work on their story update and the last 3 DLC characters.
All that being said, I’m still holding on to that tiny shred of hope that Capcom is trolling us and won’t make us wait till August for Juri.
Well, if it’s Guile then i guess the order is indeed correct and Juri is quite far off.
If it’s Balrog then the order does not matter and i will bust my brain hoping / speculating / doing rituals / etc hoping Juri will be next.
Also regarding the costumes. Well, every character will have a default, a story and a premium costume. I kinda expect next costume patch to be around summer and it will be summer themed. So Juri might be released then as well so she can have one.
I mean hell…look at Urien, he will probably be released last and dude is rockin’ a summer costume by default… xD
Alex and then Guile seems a bit wierd. Two blonde Americans in a row doesn’t sound like Japan. So maybe they’re trolling and the next character is… dare I say it… Juri?
But I hope it’s not Guile since that would mean the DLC order wouldn’t be the one we all know about. Witch means Juri sooner.
Don’t forget people, Juri is *most likely * in the story mode (bike rider with resemblance to Juri’s new outfit) so my honest bet is May.
I think it’s odd too, but then, Capcom has done a lot of odd things with the development and release of this game.
Do you have a link to the bike rider stuff? I remember reading about it a while back, but I’ve cleared all the stories and don’t remember seeing anything that resembled Juri except for when she appeared in Cammy’s story.
I refuse to believe Juri would be lame enough to ride a tricycle or a four-wheeler to get around. She’d be riding a tricked out custom street bike, sliding it around every corner just because she can.
I made my mind she will be released very late since she was comfirmed, and I have 0 interest in the rest of the DLC characters even Alex looks so boring to me. Anyway the current cast is really good and has a lot of variety and tbh Im loving Karin and Chun-li but no one can replace Juri of course.
Should be worth mentioning that in the trailer, Shadaloo soldiers are on the scene when this four wheeler shows up (well the bike and the soldiers don’t appear on the same scene per say, but it’s very likely it’s a sequence of events there)… so it’s either Shadaloo chasing Juri or Chun, Ken and Laura, or maybe all of them, or perhaps they arrived with those? Should be interesting to find out… haven’t seen the trailer for quite some time so maybe my memory is fuzzy on this one.
And yeah I think she’d look cool riding that bike, especially with the new outfit which would fit so well with it. If she is indeed the one who’s driving it I wonder for how long she’ll use it… maybe she gets to drive it like Lady in DMC3 which would be awesome.

You forget how much capcom employees like to openly troll their audience. Someone in the know like that would know EXACTLY what their team was working on, and when it will be done. It’s a quota they have to meet to get that character out before may. That’s like if you went to a packed Burger King and asked the drive through guy what order is next. His answer wouldn’t be “Whoever just shows up at the window first I guess.”. He would know which one is next, because his line of work demands that he know. There’s a process to that kinda shit, and you have to know what you’re working on, and what you are doing next or else shit falls apart.
My argument is this: Guile = (mostly) confirmed for April, Balrog = already done. If our information on Guile is accurate, It seems quite reasonable that Capcom will release Balrog in May because we already know he is finished and ready to drop.
This logic assumes that Guile is also completed and ready to drop for April. We simply didn’t have access to this information. Of course it would be dumb to hold back a finished character and rush to release another. I never implied that was the case. You inferred it.
Since there’s no rush to finish Guile nor Balrog , the developers can spend April and May working on the Story update, bug fixes, the rest of the DLC cast, or whatever else needs to be done. This seems like smart management to me.
We have 0 information on the development status of Juri, Ibuki, and Urien. It’s entirely possible that any or all of them are in a playable state. My theory is based purely on the information we currently have, plus some common sense inference.

Welp… I can only wonder how much criticism they would receive if these characters have been ready the whole time before release, though I think that would be something hard to prove since they are not on the disc. Anyways hoping for Guile and Juri to be 18 and 19 respectively.
Yup the one with SF3 sprites was made by me… I think I uploaded them a couple months ago or something.
Pure speculation because during the bike scene there’s something there that has a similar color scheme to her new outfit, so yeah none of us are 100% on it… we’re more or less just hoping for that to be the case so she has a chance at being released in May at best.
