Looking at how terrible hair looks and how it continues to look with new characters ( hey Alex ) i am worried that Juri’s horn hair will be terrible tbh.

Speaking of pads, who else here played Juri on pad? Because I pretend to do Juri combos on stick and it just seems…weird…

I did and still do. Once I got used to this controller stance everything fell into place with Juri for me

Default scheme: X(LP), Y(MP), RB(HP), A(LK), B(MK), RT(HK)

I use the side of my index finger to hit X, Y, and RB. I roll my thumb between A and B, so I can hold just one or both at the same time. When holding both I can just roll off of a button and keep the other charge. Middle finger does right trigger. This gives me full access to any move I want while holding any number of Fuhajin charges. I can do corner Triple Fuhajin combos easily with this setup.

Btw I use the analog stick for motion inputs.

EDIT: Btw you dont lose muscle memory when changing controllers. I play pad or stick depending on game. I do stick in Marvel and Skullgirls, then I prefer pad or any Street Fighter, and Darkstalkers. I can play Either controller in any of those games, I just have a preference for each.

Playing Juri on pad is like playing twister. It’s kinda fun actually. It’s a like finger exercise…but for some reason I don’t care. Gotta be dem Juri vibes.

I played her on one of those SFxT pads , mostly piano style as well as Keyboard. Took a while to get used to it, but worked out in the end.

When I played Juri on pad I held lk.Fuhajin store and mk.Fuhajin store with my thumb and used mp with my index finger.

But when I stunned people in the corner against tall characters, the middle finger came out for the triple Fuhajins.

I adapted like a mother f***** to pad Juri… many many many hours spent practicing…

I’ve been a pad player since forever, Dualshock controller and last year I got adapted to 360 pad… I actually like it more because there’s noticeably less delay with it in comparison.

It was weird at first getting used to hold buttons, but I assume every Juri player went through the same experience.

Only truly bad hairs are that of Ken’s and Alex (maybe because there’s no footage of him yet so we’ll see), coincidentally both are blonde… all the females’ hair look good though imo, I think she’ll be fine.

To be fair I think the same about stick players, I can’t even do QCF motions most of the time and I wonder how they do so many things during tourney matches that I can’t do properly on a basic level.

Only hair that looks horrible is Ken’s and all the females’ hair look good imo, I think she’ll be fine.

I thought the same thing when I started using stick a month ago. But it’s starting to feel natural now. I won’t be at my usual skill level for at least 6 months though… -_-

I got USF4 on steam and I used keyboard and 360 pad depending the character I was using but I found that I couldnt play Juri on pad it was very difficult to hold buttons for me, for Juri keyboard was way easier but for some reasons on keyboards you cant hold more than 3 keys at the same time, that made me imposible to crouch tech, kara throw, activate FSE or blocking while 2 fuhajin stored, for that reason I bought I madcatz fightstick and fell in love with it, everything became very easy almost instantly since I had a lot of experience on arcades in my times of KOF.

I noticed v-triggers that power up moves like Birdie’s and Ken’s are three bars. But then I notice Ryu’s v-trigger is two bars. But that could be because Ryu’s v-trigger still lets you do ex specials. I played Ken many days ago, but I think I remember not being able to do ex moves when v-trigger is activated. I don’t remember what the deal was with Birdie’s v-trigger.

So, assuming Juri’s v-trigger is FSE, I hope it’s only two bars. Faster to fill up, and lets you do ex moves.

Everyone can use ex moves while on timer VT’s.

I THINK Cammy can’t use EX moves while VT is active, but I could be wrong. I’m gonna test that out when I get home.

Yes, it was Cammy who could not use EX moves while on v-trigger.

Juri, as someone who relies heavily on a negative edge move to dominate the neutral, is downright brutal for pad play. Imo, it’s the reason you didn’t see too many zoning Juri players in USF4.
