Trying to learn a cheap, braindead character but I cant decide between this chars:
- Laura
- Balrog
- Mika
- Zangief
I would suggest Laura, teh other ones on the list don’t come even near her level of braindeadness.
Her execution is piss easy and her Oki is basically autopilot. plus she can do her shenenigans anywhere on the screen.
Mika needs corner and a little bit of execution plus some thinking in neutral to achieve such things
Boxer requies some time to learn how to execute everything and is also a charge character, so if you’re not used to those you’re gonna need to adapt… then again you say you use Urien so no problem there?
Gief has bad matchups, and everytime you’re against a zoner you have to work pretty hard to get to them.
I agree with @ZioSerpe Laura is the most brain dead. Mika requires understanding how to get close and create fear, she’s the most fun in the list, she can’t just fireball walk forward like Laura. Rog doesn’t really need much execution except canceling dash punches for meaty setups. Making his upper a dp motion really made him a lot more manageable as it allows to walk forward after CC to get tons of damage.
For me it’s Juri (main), Mika (secondary) and used to play Karin. Wanted to still keep up with her, but tbh I don’t even practice with her.
Same, Mika is probably the other character I can relax and blow some steam off with. Played enough ibuki and rog to defend against but never really felt attached to them.
Nah, she’s garbage.
Is Laura then I kind of wanted another male character to make my roster even but I can’t help it girls in this game are too good except for Juri :’(, still I’m going to learn Balrog down the road at least to learn how to counter every single damn cheap thing he got.
Is anyone looking for matches? Give critique on other juri players. Try to strengthen everyone’s game up

I am realizing my Juri would improve massively if I got to used lights more, but my brain just can’t cope during match.
Yknow what I think? I think there just aren’t any SFV combo vids anymore, and that’s boring. So instead of yet another situational ass tech vid, I’m currently making a fun (and pretty cool) Juri cmv for y’all to enjoy. You’ll be seeing it VERY soon!
