Going by the CFN replays I’ve seen so far
The winrate vs Necallis even among the top Juris right now is horrendous

Yeah I know how it feels :o It’s not Mika type of bad where you play dice roll and guess, but Necalli’s ground pressure and buttons against Juri are straight up ridiculous. Cammy isn’t as bad because she pressures from the air and you can AA easily. Ken is unsafe a lot of the time so you have opportunities to store and fight back. Chun is chun…same goes with Nash. But the killer is the command grab. V-reversal loses, and EX dp isn’t always reliable. Until I see a clear strategy, I think this matchup is Juri’s worst. Makes me feel completely helpless most of the time.
In what ways are you guys using her qcb+K ryodansatsu? Seems like its pretty good to make certain pokes whiff and seems to be something you can use after a LK fireball release to in and block string with the right spacing.
I played MarlonlonMilk earlier today, and he used the EX version to punish fullscreen into pinwheel DP. Other than punishing fullscreen, only ever really see it used for setups.
Is it just me or are her normals just really not good. It feels like everything just doesn’t work as it should. I’ve been swept out of my RH a lot tonight for example. For a move that seems like it is meant to go over lows, it gets hit by a lot of them, or whiffs completely against a lot of them. MP is great, but the range is short. MK seems like its meant to be crucial but it always seems to lose to other buttons on reach or startup.
Her lights seem to be very good overall though, but I’m really struggling against a lot of characters in the buttons game on the ground. Her forward walk is great, but her back walk is pretty mediocre, so trying to footsie in and out to grab a counterhit on a limb is quite hard compared to a lot of other characters. Reminds me a lot of how they wound up needing to buff Cody’s walk speed in 4.
It felt like her st. Jab was beating everything I did; even when I was at frame advantage. It was laggy so I’ll give those matches the benefit of the doubt.
