Also, with no FSE available, we could kiss goodbye to the idea of her Vtrigger to be FSE effect. I don’t want her to have that eyepatch on all the time.
I somehow doubt she lost it, who knows maybe she’s just wearing it for fun? I can imagine her taking it off in a dramatic way like this:

Also the costume there more or less fits the silhouette in the image the more I imagine it imo (have no idea what it’s called but that thing around her neck that’s part of the costume makes sense when put in that silhouette), guess it’s fair to say that that will be her default costume.

Did people really expect her to have her hair down? It would basically be the same as making Chun, Cammy, R.Mika, Ibuki, C.Viper and Maki have their hair down… even characters like Karin and Laura which have their hair down (well sort of for Karin) have a vastly different style to make them stand out from other females for the sake of more uniqueness. Only exception would be girls with shorter hair (and even then Elena has white hair), it’s just something that Street Fighter has when it comes to characters designs in general and this is done to give them a unique silhouette.
Of course I’m talking default costumes, if Chun and Cammy are anything to go by Juri will probably have a costume with her hair down so everyone wins, she did have her hair down in one SF4 costume (summer vacation?) IIRC.
Tbh the style in those scenes is pretty bad. I don’t understand why they didn’t make them look more similar to ingame models.I guess Juri has some sort of latex suit ( ? ) with a small jacket ? And what’s up with the cleavage, her default costume covered it all.
Her new look kinda reminds me of this mod only difference is that she has some sort of jacket in the new image .
Because that’s not how Bengus draws now, and they clearly rushed the ever-living fuck out of him to get these done. The game is super unfinished in case you haven’t noticed, and it’s shipping with just the competitive bare-bones.
I do feel the game is indeed unfinished. Wish they would had taken more time with some aspects of the game.
I suppose some people like that art style but i personally dislike it quite a lot. Every character looks bad and kinda the same. I hope the upcoming story mode patch won’t just have slideshows of still images, especially if they are in this art style 
Oh well, i hope Juri gets to keep her default look as well, i liked her original costume.

I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!!! I am so happy right now. That also means to that it must be Juri riding that motorcycle in that small screen of it. FUCK YESSSSSSSSSS!!! I love the suit. They didn’t change her hair either!!! I’m a VERY happy camper right now. Yes…Juri in a hi tech suit. I might have to get the season pass to get that costume if it’s the exclusive one now. But does this also mean Juri will make some kind of cameo appearance before her actual release?

I dunno about that. The only time it was “busted” was after she gave an ass whooping to Chun in the OVA. She’s had it ever since. I doubt she got rid of it. Probably got an upgrade and is just hiding it. I like the eyepatch. I still hold faith she has FSE. That thing is way to awesome to be left out.

Her eye probably was being repaired when she met with Cammy in that image, but FSE should always be available in gameplay.
Seth’s a punk. They never liked eachother anyway. He was a puppet to everyone.

Juri’s hair is long as fuck. You’d have to cut it in order to make it tolerable for combat if you kept it down, but then she’d look less like Jolyne Kujo so eh, I’ll pass. She looks like a space pirate in that screenshot. I’m totally pumped for this.

The only one I might play is Balrog. I like Juri but I didn’t like her enough to main in SF IV and I doubt that’ll change. I like Ibuki’s playstile but dislike her character a bit.
The logo on her eyepatch is just the top half of the crest from the front of her original outfit rotated 90 degrees.
Btw that’s definitely a power patch intended for added flair of V Trigger activation. If Juri didn’t have FSE they would be giving us a 100% different character entirely. Juri was canonically always a solid Tae Kwon Do fighter, but without the engine she cant do:
Divekicks
Pinwheels
Fireballs
Counter
Any of her supers/ultras
and she can’t move retarded fast like she does in her counter or her Kaisen ultra.
Without those they have to redesign her completely. And while that is a major part of Street Fighter 5 right now with aesthetic changes and alterations to gameplay, none of those changes go anywhere near that far. The closest is maybe Vega and Karin with Vega not being a charge character, and Karin having the rekkas locked behind Vtrigger. Even then they still have those things, just in a different way.
The only way they would give her to us as a cyclops is if they ass pull something about how she absorbed the power of the FSE and now has those powers without it, but the problem is that the FSE doesnt work like that.
To further solidify that it will be meant for looks only, in SF5 nobody has closeups on Vtrigger. So her activation wouldnt be as visually pleasing as it is in SF4 where it zooms in on her face with the eye shining. They need something else to really send it home. There is also the thing that it’s probably just an alternate costume.
Pretty sure the only thing Juri couldn’t do was move stupid fast. And her ki attacks would be less potent. Remember FSE is an booster. That’s all it is. It’s an enhancement. She’s been shown to jump off walls, and even do midair spins without the aid of the FSE. It is a booster first and foremost. UNLESS they changed how it works in 5. Which I doubt.
