So what do you guys think they will change until she is added ?

Basic stuff like frame data or even add some new moves ? New normals , new specials ?

After I finished the story,I replayed the Juri vs Rashid fight like 20x.
I found some Combos out and have to say.

I love her,she will definitiv be my sub.
I love the new storemechanic and the two new moves,it’s like a mix of regular Juri and Omega Juri.
Her Normals are great. She has her old far.hp and it’s cancleabel.
cr.hp seems to be still an awesome anti-air
st.mk still hits twice.
Her Walkspeed is excellent,fits my style much more.
Her new Splitkick has to be my favourite move since Cannon Spike. Knocks down and looks great. You can see how she enjoys it to do this move.
Is Pinwheel now a DP? Haven’t noticed any invincible frames.

I think her footsies will be great,she might have lost a lot projektile zoning,but in SFV is zoning with normals more potent anyway.

They might only adjust framedatas for now, I doubt they will change a lot.

Love that outfit,love the new animations,love that they made my favourite of her normals(and former most useless) finaly usefull.
Can’t wait to play her final version.

Also is it just me or does Juri realy like Cammy? I see no other reason why she would help her the whole time.

A lot of you are kinda unsure what to think of SFV Juri in terms of how she’ll play

IMO, she’s probably a pressure character. It’s very clear that her zoning days are gone. I have created some nasty pressure strings with her in story mode.

If she has good advantage on her normals. You are looking at a neutral/pressure character much more like Cammy (fingers crossed), Alex, etc.

that’s actually what I thought of when I saw it. It definitely will lead to movement mind games and things like that. It’s a cool little addition to her game.

BTW, do we know what her damage/stun is? Seems better than 900/900, but I have no idea how to gauge Rashid’s output.

let me get this straight…
when you said that you cant combo into or out of her overhead while in FSE alpha i said to myself…“well thats because her axe/jaquar kick is an overhead” but now you have discovered its not.
So i said to myself "welp, then at least there’s her heel drop/split kick. with that we can open up our opponent’s defense mid combo"
But thats not an overhead either???

what does Capcom expect us to do with this character again?

She cant combo into or out of her overhead AND none of her moves that look like overhead work as an overhead?!?!?
So she cant pressure anyone out of blocking, dropping their guard and she cant play keep away with any fireball game either?!?!?!
So she’s been transformed into a rushdown character… that no one is scared of and can just hold down back all day on her?

She lacks a lot of the tools they have though. Her corner pressure is only scary while she has either light or medium charges ready, that’s going to be a pretty significant disadvantage for her. Unless we find some decent combos/they change her frame data then all anyone has to do is block until we run out of charges. That’s why I’m having some trouble seeing how she’ll be played. Cammy’s pressure is great because she has reliable easy confirms, a good shimmy, and scores a knockdown after every combo. Juri’s only got those in V-Trigger and V-Trigger doesn’t really last long enough to bet your whole game on. V-Skill isn’t even safe and FSE is 3 bars so we won’t be getting to it easily like Nash and Necalli do.

I think they’ll make a bunch of changes before she’s out though, so it’s no big deal right now. You could fix most of her biggest problems by letting her combo after her low fireball again. It wouldn’t be overpowered since you still have to store it, your opponent can always see that you’ve stored it, and she can’t otherwise combo mediums into mediums or mediums into heavies. At first I figured you couldn’t do it because they didn’t want you to have Guile combos in V-Trigger, but her fireball knocks down in V-Trigger so that’s not even a problem. Give her that and now she doesn’t have to land a raw jump in to start her combos.

Come back in a month where a lot of these frames and hit properties will be changed. Until then, play Ryu.

I don’t like any of her revised normals at all. I miss the range on crouching medium kick. I miss the anti air potential of crouching medium punch. I hate the new angle of crouch fierce. I miss the neutral jump roundhouse. I miss my jumping fierce gonna stomp.

All of her best buttons got completely fucking destroyed. I don’t even know what the fuck her neutral game is supposed to be like now. I don’t know what her footsie plan is supposed to be. This current pre-release iteration of Juri was designed by somebody that hated the character. Plain and simple. I don’t see any potential for a threatening character whatsoever. I see a worthless fanservice character that capcom thinks will print them money.

If they don’t fix pretty much all of this shit I’m pretty much just gonna sell street fighter. I am a loyalist and I will give her a shot, but I won’t play a game where my favorite character gets smacked with a nerf bat harder than Honda. Not doing it.

I don’t mind the special changes. They’re kind of neat. But they need to fix ALLLLLLLLLLLLLL of her normals.

Sounds to me you just need to figure out how to use the new normals.

Right now, I am not liking her too much. I really miss the dive kick and fireball store…She looks really cool, and I hope they change certain things about her. I’ll be honest, every juri player wanted at least the SFxT version. IMO, that version she was great. Yes, she should have new moves…but no overhead link? She seems like she may be extremely unsafe. For that, I’ll stay with Rashid. Plain and simple. A man version of juri. Better even…I don’t know…still confused.

wow they completely changed her, i really wished they kept her store mechanic the way it was. c.mk has terrible range, no more neutral heavy kick (chun-li still has hers), all of her special moves are different…

I’m saying that the replacements for all of her best buttons are all inferior to what they used to be.

M DP seems to be invincible after startup, which makes it an amazing AA. EX is fully invincible.

I’m on mobile so I can’t tell who disagreed, but if you were an avid Juri player you have to be a mad man to tell me that

Were all worse in Sf4 and SFxTK. If you think that those buttons are better on her current iteration then please excuse yourself. Argue their current uses(if any) all you want. They are not better in 5.

i understands he wants to love Juri wholeheartly, so do we…but…she’s got major faults.
Yesterday we were all hyped, due to ignorance.
Today we are no longer ignorant of her moveset and what it can and cant do.

i’m not saying i want a copy & paste version of SF4 Juri. nah hell no.
