GGs to everyone at Smiley’s yesterday I did not think that many more people showed up since I was not there last week. I will try to make it out to Monster’s on Sunday though. But yeah yesterday was very interesting a lot of people were having heated discussions on why or why not Mvc3 Has what it takes to Last after EVO 2011 I guess only time will tell one thing is for sure though. I think it will be one hell of a wild ride and there is sure to be are a lot of upsets! Either way the game goes I will continue to root for the Houston players. Wed Fight Night Wrap Up: Once again, another off the chain night. 40+ came out and the competition was intense. Hadoken came through and took some images so when he is done uploading them I will post them on my website along with the video footage. Shoutouts to buckethead, joey h, and kensou for coming through and supporting the scene. This is what im talking about, community effort! People putting issues to the side and gaming. Houston is developing a strong scene with turnouts like this every week. We had a total of 6 new people join us which is tight. I said this before that I will be starting a promo campaign starting next week that will increase our turnouts to 50+. For the month of March I will not be running a Test Your Skills tournament so I decided to run a TYS Mvc3 March Weekly Series. I will give details on it later. I will also be sponsoring some money to top 3 champions who make it out of the series. Amount is TBA. I did this for smash a while back ago and it was very successful so I will do this for Mvc3. Cant wait till next week to see if Stone is going to defend his title or will someone take the crown from him? We will just have to see next week. Lets GO!
Dennys Afterhours: Last night we came 14 deep. Mvc3 debate was crazy. We argued the entire night till 4:30am. Like i told Mo last night, dont hype yourself up to much cause anybody can get they ass wooped in this game at any given TIME! I said if mc donalds was to hold tournaments, a 10 year old eating his happy meal would get 1st place. BET IT! Me and kensou agreed on alot of things and Im sticking to what i was saying.
