Man, I must’ve missed hearing about you playing at the CES tourney or having a party with the Capcom boys in their private suite. Guess all that coverage was just too much for me to go: “Oh shit, that’s that Wolfwood guy…” or you’re just another person who has an issue with people like Ross and 'Tecks and Marn and the rest talking down about the game. As far as experts go…are you? Is your team of Ryu / Storm / Hulk (which is what Ross used in the video) the end all be all team with no holes in it? Mind telling me the frame data on Hulk’s assist and how much time you’ve got with say, Ryu in calling in Hulk before you should start a combo for guaranteed damage?

Okay I’ll post a serious response. Blocking is never a bad thing, and you don’t do enough of it. You do realize your saying it’s better to just take the combo to the face and not wait to punish right? I would rather take a lot of chip than take a full combo, it’s common sense. X-factor is a game changer, but not in the way you think it is. If you get hit by someone using x-factor, and you die, maybe you should have blocked. If you get chipped out, and it’s that important to you not to die, than maybe you should use your own x-factor.
You must not know him. Never heard him say anything about any person’s opinion on if they like a game or not. He will tell you himself, and I’m sure I can guess his exact words, “I like the game, I don’t fucking care if you do”. Are you saying that Ross is good? Marn? Gootecks? The game wouldn’t be good if anyone was actually good at it already. If the same shit working today still works in 2 months, than either the game is bad, or everyone sucks. Sure, some stuff will eventually be good enough to keep working, but with game only being out officially for 4 days, than nobody should actually be good.

Can a internet/router guru help me out…this happens with random people from time to time as well. I haven’t really had any issue with arcade play (people dropping in) on mvc3. I always seem to drop connection with host for ranked matches but I read they will be resolving this issue soon.

i havent really had much of an issue at all with online play. The latency has been decent and i’ve gotten in quite a few ranked matches, never had to wait even a full minute. I’m not saying online is the way to go…but its not so bad.
Her overhead with H is good. For its forward H. You know…topped with the 2 morrigan special.crouching L spam. Good times. Dual fireball is very good too if you have space esp in xfactor.

Not sure how i made you so mad. Calm down man. Its just a fact that the game just came out and Mike Ross isnt very good. I dont dislike the guy, infact from what ive seen of him he seems like a pretty normal cool guy. But trust me over the past week ive prob seen about 400hrs + of this game being played at my arcade and nobody is very good. I just think if you say thing right now like “the game is scrubby” your just talking out of your ass. It might be scrubby, but after a week? Come on.
And oh, i was not aware getting to play at ces for a couple days with Capcom gave them some knowledge about it that the rest of us dont know. Watch Bucktooth play he knows whats goin on, Mike Ross doesn’t.
Of course the game is scrubby, it only 5 days old. I mean, scrubbier than Marvel 2? Def. Alot of hand holding from Capcom on combos plus everyone’s beam is fucking elite status, so for now, beam characters will dominate. Sent is stupid right now but so are a lot of characters.
Still sticking with my rushdown characters Zero and Wolvie, I don’t care.
