Im still debating on if imma go hardcore in this game due to that 100% combo i seen wesker due on x factor. That was a turnoff cause in mvc2, you had to work hard for 100% combos and be super creative. Now there just giving it away and im not feeling that. The value off skill gets un appreciated when it comes so easy so the value of the game will decrease in time. Not even sent can do a 100% combo even in re fly and unfly on 1 touch. Max i seen was chunksta and he did 75% damage including a refly. Thank god for patches cause I can already see that getting patched asap.
O.Red: You should have been there to witness this. I was just shocked cause normally suav be cool and calm. But when it came to them 2$ flatbreads, he turned into the grinch. I blame me and mo cause we did hype him up. I told suav once the greese from the meat hits that lip, its a life changer. He was like O for real, Im getting that! I really don’t think it’s a big deal, he had to use 3 bars+had to hit the guy+x factor that he saved up until the end. If he didn’t do x-factor he would’ve done maybe around 70% or something and he wouldn’t have ended the match. That probably could’ve been saved up by the power of up-back lol.
The point of the Capcom official videos is to show off characters’ combo potential to make it look exciting, you notice none of those mofos know how to block to show off combos and setups, and sometimes combos are dropped on purpose to keep certain highlight characters alive.

Like storm dhc into sentinel? or sentinel unblockable into death? or cable ez mode kills? iron man 1 touch 300%? it’s not hard for top tier in mvc2 to 100%. pretty much any dhc into sentinel = death.

kenmastersX: Now that I think about it, that x factor will add alot of hype to the game cause that is a game changer. You can be wooping somebodys ass and then all of a sudden they coming back like cable with 3 meters. Pretty much the same thing just in a different way. I think thats tight, but still think they need to tone down the damage meter. I agree with you when you say highlights and trying to sell a game to scrubs which is cool cause you got to make that bread at the end of the day.
