I remember playing the fuck out of Tekken Tag Tournament and Ridge Racer V. PS2 launch also had Dynasty Warriors 2, SSX, and TimeSplitters. In fact, every Playstation launch had a Ridge Racer game to accompany it. Where the hell is Ridge Racer for PS4???
Nothing from PS4’s launch interests me. I was excited until I found out Infamous was a “launch window” game. 2K14 looks nice, but it’s upgraded graphics with the same gameplay from this gen.

I liked Knack from the demo I played at least. Not sure how the rest of the game stacks up, but I already stated my opinion in the ‘Unpopular Gaming Thread’.
I liked the simple layout of ‘attack’, ‘jump’ and the right stick for ‘evade’. The flow chart, while simple attack->evade towards enemy->attack->evade towards enemy was fun enough, and the the best way to get around. The evade animation and the transformations looked really cool. The significant other couldn’t look at him when he was built up (it’s a personal thing with her), but she liked how the default looked. the game had a solid clean look to it.
I think there’ll be more people dissapointed with the PS4 initially just because of how hyped it was, but that’s on them.

proud father of twins, though one is going to a friend. I can finally leave my house and get some damn lunch. Been playing a lot of Closure while waiting for UPS. I think its pretty interesting. I’m waiting to play Killzone (and maybe Knack if I end up picking it up) until after I install a new HDD which gets here tomorrow. Don’t wanna do the installs twice lol
