the problem sonic boom had no chance to begin with, the trailers for it looked terrible and that style of gameplay could have worked if they actually worked on it, they even parodied the game in the end credits; they knew it was trash

It was just those niggas just said fuck it, this is for kids. And you know companies can get away releases shitty games for kids like the nickelodeon licensed stuff.
But i think Sega forgot that this was a Sonic game meaning that even if this was supposed to be a tie in to a kids show, thatās its also SONIC one of their biggest franchises that has a big fanbase prior to whoever they were gonna bring in with this Boom stuff lol.
Also Knuckles archives vol 2 seems to be outta print. I can literally only find this shit online for $900-1000 fuckin crazy

Hey since you guys are also huge Sonic fans I wanted to know how is Secret Rings and Black Knight? I got them this week for super cheap. Gonna start once Iām done with generations. I missed those two games and Colors due to the situation with my wii. But yeah how are those two. I understand the waggle shit is a turn away, but is it THAT bad?
Because Idk about what reviewers are saying, because they seemed juiced to exaggerate whatever flaws those two games have. But Iām still gonna try to get through them regardless. I managed to beat Sonic Chronicles so I can handle anything lol
Secret Rings is a lot better than people give it credit for, although it doesnāt really start to flow very well until you level up a bit and get some speed and other upgrades. The early game is kind of a slog. Black Knight on the other handā¦I donāt own the game, but from the one time I played it at a friendās house, I can definitely say that itās absolutely horrendous with no redeeming factors whatsoever.
Never played Secret Rings but Black Knight was awful. You waggle to attack with your sword and it will strain your arm after a while. Itās been a while since I played but I believe the homing attack was nerfed in that game so you would use the sword more. Unlike other Sonics games where you simply reach the end of the level in order to win you have to complete objectives in order to complete them.
Secret rings as already mentioned gets fun once you level and get the broken shit, (wind crest,lol)
it felt too short for me, mission based so the environments get boring to look at after while

Ok welp. Finished up Generations and I can definitely I enjoyed the hell outta it. Got annoyed at some challenges, and the last 3 levels were pretty damn long for a sonic game lol. But yeah I started Secret Rings, and I actually donāt mind the on rails shit. The only thing I wish they did better so far is making the jumpin a bit better, and just making the homing attack presssing 2 in the air instead of the move wii mote. But other than that itās pretty decent,
I read issue 1 of the Sonic Boom comic. It seems to pretty saturday morning cartoon style, no uhh indirect pun intended lol. Just meaning it seems a bit more that way since Iām gonna assume that the comics, while keeping the tone of the Boom universe are gonna be a bit more action packed.
Iām gonna continue reading the series. Just thinking of if I wanna do it monthly or just get the trade paperbacks when they release. But those can have a delayed scheduled, because for example the next Knuckles one doesnāt drop until 2017ā¦plus not sure where iād store all the monthly issues if the series somehow goes on for a long time.
But I kinda wanna do monthly since Iāve never read something from the beginning and keep up with it as it released, so itād be a new experience.

Also anyone here read the World Collide? I was gonna go pick up the arc today. But only because Iām at that point in the megaman comics. Would I Have to enter that arc from both series or does it still work fine if youāre only coming in from one perspective? Because I know whatās leading into it from MEgaman but not from Sonic
