Street Date of Sonic Lost World for BOTH Wii U and 3DS Version are broken in Austria. Pls don’t hit me.
Aanyways, how about the Game? Definitively not broken. At all. Fun, Fast, Fluid.
And Damn, all the first Acts of each Zone (except Windy Hill 1) are pretty long, as you can see on my Speedrun on Desert Zone Act 1… Even if I’m at full speed! For those who thought Sonic is too slow in this game. Think again. You just need to use his abilities wisely
The Game is, just like I said, pretty fun, fast and fluid, this game offers TONS of Platforming. As the little snippet of Tropical Coast Zone 2 implies.
And I love this game so far. Loved the Boost-Triology, but I am glad they moved on. Results are pretty nice so far, Sonic Team.
The controls for the Wisps are bad. Did not enjoyed it at all. The gimmicky stuff and all. Like, the Gyrosensor and stuff? Totally not intuitive. It’s rather frustrating. BUT! Thank god you are able to control those Color-Powers the traditional way, with the buttons and control-stick, that is. Much better than that Gyrosensor crap.
If you’re able to turn motion controls off for Wisps? Don’t know yet. Maybe, I should check out the settings, but no worries, your able to control the Color Powers without Motion Controls…so far… still don’t know about the other wisps!
As for the bosses, Zazz is pretty simplistic. Nothing Special. Zomom’s Fight does have some nice ideas though. I’ve only encountered those two though.
Yes! A lot more fun than in the past. Just like I said, loved the Boost Games, but this one is much more fun to speedrun. I admit though, I got a little nervous in the middle part of Desert Ruins 1, I wanted that S Rank so badly! lol.
Spindash is very fun to use btw.
Music: Pretty nice so far, each setting has the right music to fit the current mood. Dat Desert Ruins 1 and Tropical Coast 2 BGM.
Controls: Nice, fluid and pretty tight!
Parkours-System: Needs some time to get used to, but once you’ve mastered it, then it’s pretty fun and solid.
Leveldesign: Every Level is different so far, with it’s own little ideas / level gimmicks, which are fun so far. Like that Juice thing on Tropical Coast 2. Tropical Coast 1 offers tons of exploration.
Graphics: Very gorgeous and colourful. 60 fps. I witnessed only 1-2 Framerate drops so far, they occured because there was a lot of sh*t happening on Screen.
Story: Dialogue from the D6 are pretty dark and gritty. But the overall feel of the story, cartoonish. One thing for sure: Much better than the Story of Generations. Aaand maybe Colours. But I’ve still have to see the rest of the story.
It is explained how it works, the player has to read it carefully. But sadly, there are no hints about the traditional way. The gimmicky way is not all that broken, but with the traditional way works best.
