Yeah, I may prefer S3 alone but I can see why S3&K would be better. It just didn’t appeal to me as much. Also, I don’t remember a fight with Knuckles at all. I must have been super tired or something when I was playing it. Either that or the ROM I was playing wasn’t complete. I don’t know.
I finished Sonic Adventure 2 a bit earlier. I have a feeling it’s one of those games that will suck on your first playthough, but after you sort of know what’s going on it’s a lot better. When I went though Cannon’s Core the first time around, I kept getting hit and dying and swearing at the TV and whatnot, but when I replayed the level from the beginning because I lost all of my lives I made it through with no problems.
I finally 100%ed SA2B and let me say this:
Thank god for that animal glitch with the Chao, fucking hate those things. It was boring as hell to raise one and then watch it race 40000 bajillion times.
You know what’s really annoying about the pre-Unleashed 3D games? You can’t see where you’re going to homing attack. I’m scared to use it unless I’m really close to a target, because way too many times when I tried I just went veering into the nearest bottomless pit instead.
No there’s not. There’s a lot of times where there is nothing to kill/break/whatever. I think of dozens of times in just Green Forest where it would be flat out retarded to do a homing attack.
well, since we are all being open im going to say SA1>SA2…I always thought SA2 was medicore if you werent playing sonic/shadow levels…and I wasnt a fan a chao raising…I only did it to get the emblems…once I got them I never went back…
you know what game I never see any of yall discuss…Sonic Shuffle…where is the love…
probably the same reason why a grown man name’s himself Ki Shima on a video game forum and clicked on a sonic thread while trying to call someone out on why they are posting about something…
This is the reaction I’ve been getting but it really all seems to be nostalgia for other people, when I was a kid I just new there was this one part that took way more space on my memory card that had no gameplay but I really wonder why of all the challenging fun endgame content do people go for this mindless grinding minigame? It’s literally one big fetch quest.
Now having finished the game, I revoke my opinion that SA2 is overrated. While it does have some (very) stupid design choices, I think it’s a good game overall. I prefer it to SA1, at least. On another note, I sort of feel that I should buy another copy of Heroes (I gave my previous one to my cousin). I’m going to EB tomorrow anyway for Halo 4 so I’ll see how much it is and make a decision.
