I’ve been out of ssfiv for the past month and a half - two months (Course work and Blazblue being such a good game) and feel it’s pretty hard to get back in the hang of Ibuki’s execution, which I deemed was easy like 3 months ago… oh well. Was testing phone camera quality really, but you can still see what’s happening, kinda… this was an XBL match as well, so serious business occurs. Also I keep hitting myself for getting hit by the ultra, my execution suckz.

Good to see Kensou sticking with Ibuki for AE. She plays differently but it’s definitely for the better I think.

Just a little video of me messing around with some stuff in training mode after I learned to sjc cl.hk. Learned some of those focus attack mix ups MoTempest was doing and some other ones. I seem to be cancelling my cr.hp late hahaha. Just let me know if anyone has any questions on these.

Also another important thing to remember is when your doing it from a juggle that your not going to wait cause its the 2nd hit connecting already, that kinda messed me up. So when your doing like b.mp -> cd -> cl.hk -> cd,… the cl.hk to command dash is done in like 3 steps, i really really focus on hitting cl.hk THEN do my motions, not too fast either, well its a pretty fast motion but make sure u visualize it in 3 steps… 1,2,3… just always focus on doing it WHILE its hitting… like hit, then motions… not hit and motions, not together…

only watched the first match, the rose didnt do enough empty drills to dissuade you from spamming focus.
i liked how at 2:15 you did cr.lp> throw and it got teched.
then you immediately adjusted and at 2:20 you did cr.lp> wait> st.mk as a frame trap. to bad the cr.lp didnt get blocked, your frame trap looked to have the right timing.
anywho i liked it cause it showed that you were thinking while you were fighting. the adjustment was immediate and the right thing to do.

and after watching these I must say I focus way to much, maybe I should start limiting myself to 3 Focuses a match :\
okay i’ve been trying to find a secondary main to replace hakan since im not doin oh so well in torney with him my first main is sakura so i pick ibuki cause she more my playstyle rushdown c ombo mix up heavy character… here my first match as ibuki tips needed helpfull suggestion.

You seem to play very very impatiently and without much thought to your actions. For example, starting out rounds with jumpins and random neckbreakers. You’ll probably have a very difficult time against patient opponents (ie: turtles) and zone characters, or rather anybody that knows how to block and punish.
Relentless rushdown can be good, and if your opponent isn’t doing anything to stop it, then it’ll be very good. But you have to think first, then act. Judging by the video, it looked like you were trying to mash everything.
Lastly I’d like to see some combos, and combos used to their full potential. Remember that full TC4/TC6 almost always works on Abel due to his larger hitbox. And I don’t want to see things like throw as a punish, especially with your opponent in the corner… Ibuki’s corner combos are insanely damaging and lead to good mixup opportunities. It’s foolish to just throw that away.
But you won your match so obviously your opponent didn’t do a very good job of pointing out your mistakes…
