My ibuki “sucks”
Very nice ibuki you got there jibbo. I like how you keep applying pressure, maybe i should make mine do more jump in kunai after pressuring to keep it fresh…
very nice ibuki jibs  3rd round versus ken was pretty and everything went your way… shit was nice.

In video around the 5:20 mark it says that nerdjosh has actually given up on ibuki because his performance at evo, yet uses her there anyway. I wonder if that is just a one off because his sagat was failing. Still a great match anyway… apart from a few missed links he did well enough to over come sabin.
Also, jibbo, great ibuki
Jibo!! ur awsm man…i luv your matchs. though i must say this bison player sucks ass lol
but again, dude!! nice stuff indeed
the ken and sim match were really cool…dude if it’s possible i would like to fight ur Ibuki…whenever ur free, is it okay with u?
Thanks but none of them were really too good just typical mash shit online – Not to mention PSN is balls. I was just kinda forcing myself on them trying to make it look good for a friend watching. I mean I almost lost to Mashy McGee Ken here lol…
SJC knives is that new hotness for me. If you throw it properly, it puts you back up close with frame advantage. It’s pretty nasty in the corner too. There’s easy answers to it, but those answers can be beaten as well. Like for whatever crazy reason people just started knowing to focus in that gap, but whenever I did mk > tsumuji or mk > penguin kick follow up it’ll catch and beat them focusing. It’s hard to react to but not like that matters in this game so much. People just choose whatever convenient options without thinking about it.
Yeah cause what i usually do for pressure is keep poking then turning it into tsumuji or CD or very occasionally penguin kicks. With that kunai in the mix that’s another mix up they have to worry about now after that mk, specially since you’ve got frame advantage. I guess knives aren’t just for vortex and zoning
You jump at shottos with knives? And didn’t get DP’d? What scrubs are you playing?
mind if I add you on PSN? I’d like to play a better ibuki player online and try to learn some shit.
I am wondering this as well.
well, the idea is not of Jibbo fighting scrubs or not…the idea is his REACTION and the way he pressure. to be honest i find myself really close to Jibbo style, in fact i use more CD’s and confusion more than anything. am a guy who i wait to see wut opponent do and then react, if i had a good time to zone in then i will enter to confuse and pressure as long as i can read them.
somehow i felt Jibbo is the same in MANY WAYS! not only that, he uses way different mind pressure games than mine…so me fighting jibbo with Abel gonna be a good practice for me

I know this isn’t the right place but I’ve asked a couple of day ago in “tech talk” and nobody answered me so I’ll post it there.
Can someone explain to me why they’re using arcadestick but they left “controller” in the “controller type” instead of “arcade stick” while they bind the command to the buttons?
tnx
Probably because their arcade sticks have button alignments ptetty close to that of a controller. It really doesn’t matter what u choose. I only really selected arcade stick when I used to have an old Hori stick because onr of the arcade stick pre sets had the exact button config that Hori uses. Most newer or custom made sticks use the same button alignment as a controller any ways.
ok tnx a lot
dunno why but I thought it changes something like how the program reads inputs
now i feel better
Wake up ultra 1 > @1:10 Did Ryu messed up his safe jump in this vid? or does this really work?
v8KzRFqHz78]YouTube - ACQUA0316 [Ibuki] vs AirGen2009825 [Ryu
meh double…
No. The Ultra has a 2 frame start up so in this case a perfectly timed safe jump is actually an unsafe jump. This is one of the few reasons I might choose U1 because it actually forces your opponent to respect your wake up options.
U1 comes out in 2 frames. When you land after an attack you have 2 frames where you can be punished. and frames 3-4 can block/tech throws.
If he had pushed nothing he would’ve still been hit as you can not move 4 frames after landing.
Ah yes of course, never realized you can use this again safe jumps. Thanks for explaining.
I thought U1 is 1+1 startup? And considering it was a reversal, that makes it 0+1. Where are you guys getting 2 from?
