I think I need to post some of my videos soon.
Quick things ive noticed from the videos ive quickly skimmed:
Some of you are not using the recommended Ultra for your match up posted. Example-U1 is amazing VS Rog. It stops his random mixup rush down game and punishes most of his punches on block OR reaction before it connects.
Punishers- I’m seeing bad punishers. Throws, missed links where you could easily go into LPMPHP TC for full damage into Neckbreaker. I also saw some very nice punishers but with horrible ending finishers such as Raida in the middle of the screen against a vortexable character (forgot who it was.) Raida is good as a punisher or to push your opponent towards the corner if they are not vortexable to focus on corner pressure. IMO, if we can’t vortex them…get em in the corner and ibuki can do that fast with lp mp Cr HK HK TC launcher, Raida, and her back throw.
Repetiveness: I suffer from this a bit myself and I know it but mixing it up is important. That’s a good 75% of her game. lol. Thats why Ibuki is good.
Most of you are making good use of command dashes, are blocking well and not randomly doing stuff, (though i saw someone random neck breaking. lol) and playing smart. So cheers there. I didnt see any TC into Ultra II.
My ibuki sucks. I’ll be posting soon.
Does anyone know about this?
Counterhit kunai straight into U2? Sounds rare and you’d probably be better off hitconfirming first with like TC4 or something, and then SJC U2, instead of looking at your side of the screen for that counterhit popup.
Imma test it some more and see if it can be done without a counterhit but, if it doesn’t work then oh well.
EDIT: It definitely works without a counterhit but, unlike a counterhit you have to buffer the ultra input as you come down which is easy i think this might be worth learning. I’m going to go test this out on other characters.
You won this match. Post a losing match instead.
I will say though, you can punish EX MGB alot harder than with just reversal raida. Go for like st.LP , st.MK xx Neckbreaker.
I agree with Mingo even if it works on non counter hit. I definitely prefer the hit confirms.
This video contains certain highlights from my matches against NinjaCW and one match at the end. There was quite some lag so unfortunately NinjaCW couldn’t perform the best to his abilities. Especially since Makoto is full of one frame links. Nonetheless this is fun to watch. In case anyone was wondering this footage is like three weeks old, so not necessarily current.
Enjoy.

It does work without a counterhit. I think teef showed it before in one of his videos. But the kunai has to hit at like their ankles and you have to U2 as soon as you hit the ground.
Doable, possible, yes. But practical? Not really.
^ Done that before, but it was off of a blocked EX kazegiri and against Vega. Shit was so cash. Will probably never do it again though. I need to play Ibuki more.
Yeah, it’s not all that practical but, still a good find.
I’ve actually done this before on a consistent basis. Mingo is right. The Kunai needs to hit in the feet for it not to be blocked.
I’ll upload a video later of me doing it in a fight.
Set against a pretty good Gen

How exactly is this Gen any good? Is it because he does random supers/ultras? And why do you always just stand there when he does his wall dives? FFS please punish with Agemen or dash/backdash out of the way and then punish/pressure accordingly.
