Your right all my information is not up there. My list is way more detailed and is very useful. That list lacks alot. I might type it up and post it in a few days. Ill also be posting the second part of my Abel match soon. So for those who missed the first part, here it is.
Would appreciate any feedback. I’m having a hard time linking MK into tsumuji after a string, as well as getting the third hit of tsumuji to sweep, and it’s evident in the matches. But any other comments on zoning, vortex setup, vs. Seth tips, and general things appreciated. thank you

You won both matches… clearly this Seth did a shit job of exemplifing or capitalizing on any of your mistakes. Post losing matches for real advice.
I will say though, when your opponent is in the corner, make use of EX tsumuji + raida or kazegiri for big big damage/stun. Don’t just go for the regular neckbreaker when you have an opportunity to really punish your opponent.
I stopped recording when I realized how bad the viewing quality was. But I’ve been having trouble against an Abel and Sim i’ve fought and will post those for some further advice. Thanks
Mairuzw critique before I leave-
The pros
-First game you caught me with Ibukis 1 frame link alot. I was like dam. Dont know what happened after that.
-After the first couple games. You started being able to block everything I threw at you. You adapted pretty quickly.
-Beat me in the air a bunch of times
-Good use of cmd to punish bad jumpins
Cons-
-You block WAAAY TO MUCH!. I dont know if you were waiting for a punish opportunity and were just to scared or what but you kept taking jumpin after jumpin. Block string after block string. Ibuki needs to be on the offensive to win. Not taking every hit I throw at you
-You should be looking for combo opportunity from pokes and punishes. Dont just look for throws over and over. Ibuki has tons of hitconfimable pokes as well as a crossup you should be trying to land. Be on the offensive and get out of pressure quickly to start your own.
-I threw tons of unsafe hiens and kazegirls and even a blocked neckbreaker at you that you didn’t capitalize on. You can FADC the kunai or jump for a air tc and setup your vortex. Train yourself to punish.
-When my tsumuji whiffed and you hit me from the air. You Didn’t combo.
-Your vortex needs work. After the neckbreaker. Your kunai completely missed most of the time.
-start throw teching.
-Master your bnb. go to training.
I think thats it. good luck
Ohh snap, i wanted to try that and i completely forgot!
i noticed some stuff that happens sometimes were opponent just enter through u for a reason…like for instant, there’s this timing i can do were penguin kick (both kicks) hittin as cross ups after c.MP chain attack. it’s kinda weird though but i will test it until i get it (hopefully tomorrow)
You need to use your buttons to get out of the corner. It’s obvious you were good at blocking that Cody pressure when he got you in the corner towards the end but if u just sit and block all day you’re gonna lose. Once you find a space as you’re blocking his strings just throw out a couple s.LP’s and if they land combo into s.MK into whatever and get yourself out. Or even if he blocks just combo into MK tsumuji to space yourself out of the corner. Pretend like you’re a ninja balrog and use those LP’s and s.MP to space yourself out of situations where the opponent is forcing you to block. It’s important to know how to block when you’re in a bad situation cuz most average players will just let the reversals go wild and lose but u gotta know what to press to get yourself out afterwards as well.
Your offense was solid enough. You were getting good runs with the vortex and what not. It was just mainly how sloppy your ability was to push Yeb’s Cody out after you were blocking his pressure that killed you. He knew he could just keep forcing you to block until you finally got hit because he knew you were afraid to press a button during his gaps when u shouldn’t have been. You have a bunch of 3 or 4 frame normals u can use to push him out once u see a break.
The only other thing I can think of is to use more s.LP and s.MP for pressure. Especially against Cody. As soon as you land one of those on Cody it’s free vortex time.
Good stuff on most of the matches. I just have a few things that I think could have worked out in your favor:
In the second Chun match, when he was spamming EX bird kicks to get out of the vortex, you probably could have baited it to prevent from getting hit and taking that damage. Of course, im not a expert on that match by far, but from the looks of it, seems like he wanted to spend that EX meter everytime he got vortex’d.
Good shit in the Rufus fight! Did you bait that second to last ultra to counter with super, or was that reaction? Either way I didn’t know super would out beat Rufus Ultra so I definitely learned something there. Also, I lol’ed a good bit since it seemed like the rufus player was mashing EX messiah when you did the HK command dash behind him. Im not sure if Ultra 1 will stop Rufus Ultra II, but im definitely going to give it a try tonight to see if Ibuki can prevent that chip damage situation from happening.
Overall, good shit though Luis, I enjoyed watching it.
Thanks man. Against Chun I usually just do the kunai REALLY late and itll just hit her out of EX bird but you cant combo after, I was just messing up the timing
Rufus Ultra was just reaction, I didnt wanna get chipped or anything so I figured super would save me :3
Lol, well that was a damn good guess against Rufus. Gives me a reason to keep my bars now against him when he has Ultra since Super seems to rape him. Would be a great bait if he ever tries to wake-up Ultra when I get ready to vortex him xD
