Anyone watching Momochi’s Ibuki live? Been streaming for the past 2 hours.

When momochi does his bnb cr.lp, cr.lp, st.lpl, st.mk to Tsumuji is he using MK or RH? I was playing with RH Tsumuji and while this may be known, RH leaves you closer to the opponent than MK. So I was just wondering which one he does to set up his kunai mixup
I’m going to assume he does MK tsumuji either way because that leaves u neutral on block (0 recovery). Which all Momochi is trying to do is land the sweep ender on hit confirm so that he can go for wake up pressure so MK tsumuji would be ideal. I learned from playing 3S to always use MK tsumuji for pressure since it’s the safest on block and allows u to combo to sweep. HK tsumuji leaves u at neg 4 on block which is prone to getting reversal jabbed by anyone with a 3 frame jab or shoryu’d by anyone with a 3 or 4 frame shoryu. Of course anyone sitting on a quick super like Ryu or Chun Li can make it risky for that string to blocked as well.
I mean as long as you’re hit confirming into the HK tsumuji you could definitely get away with using HK tsumuji. It’s just if u put a break in the string or mess up your hit confirm you just have to understand that you’re at neg 4 if the opponent blocks your HK tsumuji.
Deviljin is correct with everything that he said. Just another thing to add though. With Mk tsumiji you can stall the final hit unlike the HK tsumiji. It can be useful if someone is trying to mash jab or try anything other than crouch block or invincible move.
Also sometimes people may assume that you are using MK tsumiji and may not mash at all after the first two hits. Which leaves you closer than lk and mk tsumiji and can get you another attack like a grab.
I am also fairly certain that mk tsumiji leaves the opponent lying on the ground for a longer period of time than HK tsumiji.

cr.hp can be jump cancelled. He did that into air kunai into combo.
It isn’t bad to be deliberately unsafe. Even if say Guile punishes your HK tsumuji with flash kicks, it could be worth it to mix it up to bait him into doing it and punishing instead.
Momochi’s ibuki is something else… glad to be learning from one of my favorite players in the game.

that boxer was just awful, no punishes and no idea how to play the matchup.
How Ibuki was able to outpoke Boxer every time is just beyond me.

Ohh that’s me ^_^. one of the Boxer Victims, i remember when i was talkin and sayin that i punish Boxers a lot…seriously if they dont know wut they do countering Ibuki they are toilets.
though with all honesty, i fought the guy twice afterwards , and one of the matchs he Destroyed me(somehow took his revenge from this match lol)…so to be honest he’s a very decent boxer, just lucky him this match he didnt know wuts goin on with all the SJC and traps

two hours long momochi vs . he used mostly Ibuki. but he didn’t think Ibuki is a good tournament character. Remember in Japanese tournament, you can’t change character.
