well the Ryu B.HK nerf is real judging from that video and if it’s really AE wouldn’t he have the season 1 and 2 characters unlocked? Or does he have to wait for AE’s official release for those characters?
Well for anyone going to check… make sure you delete all SFV updates from your ps4.

He should examine that SFV box, maybe there’s a different bar code, or print on the box that normal SFV versions don’t have. Or even on the disc, like it might be very subtle discrepancy.
Maybe there’s just straight up some AE data on the disc, and if you buy a fresh new copy from walmart, ask them to go in the back and give you a stock room copy (cause those will be the freshest) then delete your data and play offline, you may be able to do what he did.
Yup, he needs to check and see if there is anything different. Need to find a new copy that hasn’t been sitting in the store for months. Chances are, all new copies are going to be like this. Games are printed in bulk, just gotta make sure you get the right run.
AE will come with two codes for the two character passes. Nothing on disc.
