Ok so it’ll be solar plexus, cr.fierce EX donkey - DP for one meter.
Not bad
@volt - it might do really high stun though and with his throw stun upped, it might be possible to use your V-trigger to extend then you might only be one throw off stun on the lower stun characters.
I thought the axe kick nerf had more to do with its use as a AA now instead of removing the link to solar plexus. Since Ryu can cancel the first hit of axe kick and juggle into donkey kick I thought maybe they wanted to make it a little harder to use.
Unfortunately this was actually the opposite of what I thought might happen. I actually thought there was a chance they’d make it 1f faster so it’d be easier to use as a AA.
Although they addressed some of his issues. He’s still pretty weak at rushing people down and ending rounds quickly like other characters can. So I was really hoping he’d receive a lot damage buffs instead. Nothing major, just stuff like heavy DP being 140, cr. MK being 60, st. MK being 70, etc.
Of course as soon as I say I haven’t run into any Menat’s in ranked, finally got one. PinkPanther.
He wasn’t bad, but he didn’t react to Ibuki’s frame traps or dashes well. That’s the only thing that got me to win both matches as otherwise once he got near me with the orb I had no idea what to do.
The orb just keeps going back and forth on my block and I’m just like
I’ve never spent so little time with a fighting game. I bought it, played it for less than a month, then realized I’d have to drop every fighter I’m currently playing in order to be competent. There’s no way I’m doing that for a 3D fighter.
Tekken just felt like i needed years and years of experience to just be able to compete if i ever wanted to get into a tournament. I like working to win but having a deficit like that isn’t worth it.
Tekken 7 isn’t that difficult to me. I’ve been playing 3D fighters for a while so the movement and blocking isn’t foreign to me. The only thing giving me trouble is doibg consecutive KBD (I’m pad scum). Other than that, T3kken is alright. The game doesn’t captivate me like Soul Calibur does. The movement in SC flows more smoothly than Tekken.
Been playing Ibuki lately without the air jab reset in sets today to prepare for the update. Air reset was the main reason to spend meter and now I forced myself to stop using it I have full meter so often now. Feel strange.
She’s fine, her walk speed and abuse of her god lvl counter pokes makes people so afraid to walk me down. It really helps my game revovles around lp raida oki, frame traps, and tick pressure with light punch.
St lp is nerfed so I have been using st mp for tick pressure and its an overall stronger option anyway because it leads to better frame traps and you can side switch still.
Cr mk on counter hit buffer into lp raida will help her against Chun, Ed, annoying footies characters.
It isn’t that difficult at lower levels but in order to actually get good it requires a ton of dedication.
I notice a lot of people that take T7 seriously don’t play other games. I appreciate watching it but I’d rather spend my time getting good at SF and maybe a KOF or ASW game on the side.
I was a huge Tekken guy back in the day. Mainly Tekken 2 and 3.
My Eddy Gordo was ass, but breakdancing niggas into oblivion was the greatest pleasure. I remember when this Lei player told me if I kept doing that “punk ass shit”, he was going to break my jaw once he caught me outside. Defused the situation by showing him how he could stop taking unnecessary damage in battle and how to approach better. We ended up being cool afterwards.
