I don’t know why everyone is complaining about Abigail when Akuma is just as bad.
Fuckin Akuma players are the worst. I’m glad Balrog knocked his dumbass out in 2 hits during season 2.
But Capcom had to nerf him down the ground while buffing up Akuma.

Yeah yeah, we all know you love Bison. But he was never a secret, a rumour. Akuma came shrouded in darkness. He deserves such buffs!
I never really have problems fighting Akuma. No reason why you should have problems playing the against the only good shoto in the game unless your character has a terrible match vs him. Never feel like I got scammed vs him like vs Season 2 Rog. f+HP being minus now is a good deal. Has to use it to hop over an attack to get an advantage and you can take your turn or bait a DP if it’s blocked. Still stupid once he has VTC ready, but that’s fair considering the game revolves around that.
I’ve fought against Drezz, Chris Hu and other Akumas online and the matches feel way fair compared to anything vs Urien, Laura or Season 2 Rog. If you watch people like XsK Samurai or Tokido play Akuma, I’ve seen matches where they’re literally just trying to space c.MK and fireball at good spots to beat really unga bunga characters. Good to see from a character that traditionally has always had the ability to do cheap stuff because that’s his design.
Only characters I still have unga bunga problems with are Urien and Laura, but that’s also due to matchup experience and just the way they work. Everyone else is just another day. Even Abigail it’s just either I get in and win or he gets in and win. Played too many matches in other games that are pretty similar. Nothing new. Never really had problems with Rashid either. He doesn’t kill you fast enough for me to care.
He was made in 15 minutes and literally stole Bison’s backstory at the time. He deserves nothing!!!

When you’re supposed to be a serious character and you look like simba…well…more of a laughing stock then anything.
I feel Abigail need a few minor tweaks. His Bay Area Sunrise for one has 9 frames of throw invincibility even if it isn’t EX. Feels a bit much, as you can’t throw him at all at the start up and it hits at frame 9.
Would be pretty fair for the EX version, but for the normal, maybe make it throw invincible from frames 4 to 9 or something like that.
And a tweak to his hurt boxes.
He is very strong, but not to the point of being broken right now.
As for Akuma, he is also very strong, but his 900 HP make him a glass cannon. All the matches I had against him with Zangief felt fair despite the MU being favourable to Akuma.
If I got in, I usually walked out with the win against those I played because he dies and stuns so fast.

Abigail was a boss character when Akuma was still jobbing to Gouken. And look at them biceps. You can’t tell me all that muscle should be a disadvantage.
Yet people feel the need to bitch and moan about Abigail. He has bad matches afaik, but losing to him is beneath them instead of just leveling up.
