Chris T needs to turn that salt into wine, just wait for Violent Ken in S4 I promise
Did anyone here about this yesterday during the Blanka hype? https://twitter.com/soulcalibur/status/963523296653279233
lol at Chris Tâs arguments. âI could play characters that can actually do stuff, but instead Iâll complain about my own fair character that I want to be slightly betterâ.
All good players ended up leaving their mains behind if they were not competitive and winning again tournaments, yet he still sticks to Ken and complain if he canât win with him. Either you accept being a casual that only wants to play his favorite character or you adapt.
Isnt that the exact same trailer from a while ago with Edgelord Kilik?
Chris T said that if they fix the combos heâll complain less.
It is, why did I think it was new? Why did they tweet it like it was new?
Why is Ken considered so bad ?
He feels like a jack of all trades to me. Solid mid tier at least.
Because theyâve been doing that since the game was announced.
Also that Chris T image⌠wew

Fucking Necalli!
Where the fuck is my Monster Hunter R. Mika CAPCOM
I have a feeling that a lot of modders will make a plushie costume for all other characters eventually lol
DevilJin_01:Electricity seems to be plus after all. I guess since all electrics are the same might as well just make it plus. He doesnât have a 3 frame button, but his s.lp seems to have really good range. With his dash and command hop he looks extremely mobile on the ground for 1000 health/stun character. People are gonna hate fighting him again for sure
They said on WSO that electricity is +3ob.
How is the start up?
Highlandfireball:I think the big difference with 5 is at least characters like Gouken in 4 had their own style and weâre fun to play. You werenât playing a shit version of Akuma, it was a completely different experience.
Same with T Hawk or even Blanka. Juri was completely different as was Hakan.
Now everyoneâs just got different power levels of the same shit.
What do you think should happen in 5 to make charactersâ be completely different experiences? Is the problem so fundamental that it is too late to fix?
I think so, yes. The way I see it, the lack of universal mechanics and strict balance goals take away many degrees of freedom in character design. There is a reason anime fighters (and even SFIV to an extent) can afford to have more diverse rosters.
SFV is fun, but streamlined as hell and thatâs not going to change. Which is fine, because the game is doing well thanks and there are many other fighting games to try out.
Is there any possible way to escape Abigail VT1 on wake up if you donât have an invincible/multi hit reversal?

So SFVâs problem is that itâs too perfect.
I can live with that.

Itâs only a matter of perspective really. Some players prefer a simple game, others will get bored quickly. Nothing prevents you from enjoying different kinds of games either.

Tweaking the Crush Counter would ease the suffocating offense and allow a more measured approach for most characters. For example, Dhalsim could be played as a keep-away character again. Of course, any change to a universal mechanic such as the CC would shake everything up again, and character specific changes would have to follow.
It would never happen anyway. SFV is the product of an ADHD, instant-gratification generation. Zoning is a dirty word, and patience is old-fashioned.

Hey we got Menat so maybe thereâs hope
