I see Ryu still firmly stuck in the lower tiers.
The VT1 DP’s keeping juggle points is nice, especially with VTC giving him a juggle point after TC, ut the VTC nerf makes it a little worse. It’ll be good to use after a EX Jodan though.
Cammy is pretty much the same, unless the hitbox/hurtbox changes are heavy nerfs.
Ken’s Heavy Tatsu had it’s first active frame removed. Isn’t that the knee bash he does when jumping into the rest of the move? I’m all for the end of onlinery, but isn’t this kind of going to screw his combos?
Vega’s TCs look really good. VT1s lost a lot of damage, but can be juggled afterwards (Except airborne, it got a damage buff tho.)
Karin’s VT1 might drain faster, but I think the cost of Guren Ken was either reduced or removed. Same as Guren Dodge. Might be a lot lower than the 40% it used to be. Not bad overall, looks like the opposite of what they’re doing with Cammy’s VT1.
Karin having her c.HP hit behind her seems weird. I suspect this means the move will have a hurtbox that reaches the height of the screen, otherwise that would be another pretty huge AA buff for her.
Looks like Gief got nerfed. Pretty hard if ya ask me.
A lot of increased recovery on his anti-fireball moves and pokes. Some of them only on whiff. Still, going to be a lot harder for him to get in.
If that’s true, then that’s a good direction to take the game in my book.
Not sure it’s enough to actually make me try the game again, but it’s definitely a start if it’s correct.
