Well PC base is near non existant so that doesn’t help. I figured you would just wait for blayblue cross in the long term any way. Ill probably play that for a week or so just to say I played it
That’s the same as saying evil ryu should be in sf5 instead of ryu because ryu gets his ass kicked more. My point isn’t who stronger its that they really put another goku in the game.
Yeah that’s exactly what I was going to relate it to. War Machine to Iron Man also
Decapre and Cammy are different characters with “different movesets” but it’s still 2 characters that look visually similar and share parts of their moveset. Seeing 2 teams that are filled with colored spikey haired dudes is gonna be funny. Plus nobody really liked Decapre other than the people that played her
Goku black I’m sure is his own thing, but if you don’t watch the anime and go on visuals he’s a pink haired goku.
E.Ryu carries over tatsu, SRK, hado, his ultras are practically the same, his normals.
I’m almost sure the only thing Black carries over is the Kamehameha and he uses instant transmission in the manga, melee style is completely different, specials are all blade esque, he’s a bit like Vega in how he fights.
I just said it’s Zamasu, they aren’t the same person. Only aesthetics are the same, Zamasu(original body) really didn’t get enough time fighting to be given a full moveset, but on top of that - Black was the main antagonist, original body Zamasu was the less highlighted of the two - and the only discerning feature he had was immortality(He put himself in death situations multiple times so Black could land clean hits, immortality carried him).
I would say everyone is probably closer to a Dr.Doom or Iron Man function. The way lead guns and Hawkeye arrows spray in Marvel is pretty different and can cover a lot of angles that aren’t really seen from most of the beam stuff in DBZ. Where it’s usually just beam, angled beam or shots that would be kinda like guns, but not really. Beams are a bit different in how they place on the screen than guns.
Nobody is going to really Chris/Winter Soldier/Hawkeye/Megaman it out in that game. There’s not even a Ghost Rider really. Everybody Dr.Dooms or Iron Mans with a generic homing dash and teleport for movement. I mean that’s adhering to the source material, but yeah.
Plus from what I’ve heard the game doesn’t really have any real chip. Not that Marvel Infinite has heavy chip either, but people make it sound like there isn’t much of a chip game which forces the zoning into the typical new age anime stuff where you always have a way to shut down block damage. Supers and certain characters will at least chip ok in Marvel Infinite.
EDIT: Yeah from looking at videos now I’ve seen Vegeta throw both a point shot blast and an assist shot blast and their health bars don’t even move on block.
Blue Goku has a punch that kind of moves like Rashid’s EX Eagle Spike if I recall correctly. The game seems to be a bit less focused on assists because you mostly get different varieties of lock down assists with a few utility variants (18’s projectile absorb, Krillin’s senzu gambling). Very few characters seem to have “must have” assists other than maybe Frieza, Vageta, and Kid Buu but you can get slightly weaker variants from pretty much the rest of the cast.
The game looks to be a bit more like a GG version of CvS2 with assists rather than a full Marvel 2/3 type situation.
