I read the manga, I didn’t like it because it’s the typical romantic shounen taken to the extreme, in real life Madoka and Kyosuke would be the biggest assholes to have ever existed, they basically made fun of Hikaru for three fucking years while not even holding hands once, that’s why I used to like shoujo mangas they were way more realistic despite being aimed at girls

Skullgirls uses GGPO which is a different form of code from Capcom’s shit. Capcom’s code at best just takes concepts from GGPO, but just doesn’t implement them as well. Which is why there is one sided rollback and the game doesn’t adjust the delay for laggier connections (causing lots of teleports as if every match is on 0 rollback delay). Marvel Infinite added a delay filter for laggier connections so you just get more input delay rather than lots of ports.
Injustice 2 actually had the creators of GGPO help advise them on the netcode, so that’s why there’s less rollbacks and choppiness.
