@Evil_Canadian for sure.
I remember both of those dudes. This all sounds right.
Wish they’d been a little clear on the whole reboot thing.
Is it going to play like 2 and 3 or 4 and 5?
Is it just a older version with newer visuals and a focus on esports?
Is it just going to a stripped down version like puyoxesports was? How’s the netcode gonna be?
I just know they better not go xbox exclusive like they did with fs or I’m flying to Japan to smack somebody.
I didn’t know WI-FI 6 was a thing!
I see this as a nerf for the Brazilian ken’s.
They feed off lag.
@Dayaan @martian iirc y’all got Switches.
I need a hand picking a new sd card for mine, I found a 128GB with 50mb/s speed and a 64GB with 100mb/s speed. Which one should I pick?
128gb obviously wtf.
It’d be a waste otherwise.
The real answer is 256 more storage never hurt.
Going back to basic did work for samsho because that was his core nostalgic gameplay. But How can it work with VF?
I didn’t remember the original VF and VF2 being competitive?
My name is Dayaan Parry and I approve of this message.
This is the card I use, for reference. It has everything from Team Sonic Racing, to DBFZ and SF 30th.
Here is the card I have. It’s only $60 now…crazy.
I’m thinking of what Virtua Fighter 6 would look like.
Stuff it would still have:
- Three buttons
- Ring outs
- the strongest crouching punch in the business
Stuff that would change:
- Throw teching would get way eaiser, prolly closer to T7’s system
- input windows would get a little more lenient
- This one is the least likely imho, a comeback mechanic like V-trigger or rage arts. I don’t think this would happen cause VF matches are too short. It would have to come with a 60 second timer and longer health bars
I’d be fine with them keeping everything pretty much as is, except for some more leniency on certain inputs as you said. No more 1 frame knee-nonsense.
Wasn’t that exactly what they did going from Vf4 to vf5? Three ways you can tech and one chance, vs 8 ways you can tech and several chances?
Also I do not want Tekkens throw system into any other game, reaction breaking when you can see hands make it a chore to open good players up.
I have a 512GB in my Switch. I can’t reccomend either of these.
Trying to find art on twitter is straight ass.
I was more thinking along the lines of “normal” throws (P+G) are teched with P+G regardless of direction the person is pressing, and command throws are the guess the direction version.
Like any punch beats normal throws in tekken, old school teching for command throws
I know I would definitely benefit from some easing on the execution requirements. I struggle with with some of the inputs myself I just hope they don’t overcorrect and we end up with it being too easy.
