Man some of the make characters really have jack shit for costume options
You figure out your config man? Wanna try another set?
I wanted to write a full reply to this dumbass, but I shouldn’t waste my time with him.
Tomorrow maybe, I play with a friend today.
I also talked with some people and the general answer was to not bother with 80ms+ connections. You either have to play with delay to ensure smoothnes or bump the rollback up and pray.
We can try some stuff out tomorrow, since I got some setting commendations.
I mean…Namco and Capcom did have an agreement of sorts
Anyone down for some 3rd Strike?
Makes sense. Hearthstone is trash so a derivative of a derivative would also be trash.
Damn surge protector died. Newest one I owned too. I have wall mount unit but I’m gonna have to get something more heavy duty for my PC.
@Vhozite Went 8-3 again. Hit Super Silver. I’ll guess I’ll try to play around 10 ranked matches a day. Hope you are happy.
I am but don’t play ranked for me I haven’t played ranked in like 3 years. Play it because you want to get better or you want the satisfaction that comes from climbing.
Honestly I’m curious how far I can go. Last time I really tried in rank I got one win away from Gold hit a skid and just said fuck it.
Understandable.
If you run into a wall the best thing to do is stop and hit the lab or watch replays. Every time I got stuck there was an area I could obviously improve on.
Pretty sure when I climbed into U Plat I was still doing suboptimal combos. You don’t have to be perfect just make an effort to get better.
My biggest issue is my reaction time. Some days its just ass which is frustrating. Knowing what your opponent will do and being to slow to stop pisses me off to no end. I was tired as hell when I got off work and debated whether to play or not. I hit training mode, hit something that I was having trouble with consistently and figured I’d be good to go.
The best 2 things you can do to improve reactions are:
Raw reactions are obviously a part of it but you can compensate for it with a little with preparation.
I struggle with reaction time as well. I usually don’t get to play till after work, so I never know if I can’t react to something or I’m just tired. Feels like sometimes I’m hitting those anti airs and others I can’t stop Ken from jumping in on me.
Still learning how to convert into more damaging stuff from neutral too. Uriens combos are fun but some of them are hard as shit. Good luck getting a standing headbutt out of me.
Learning this character and then watching Nemo play has given me nothing short of an existential crisis
If I play and my anti airs are shit when I know a jump is coming. I know I’m in for a BAAAADD day. So I usually just stop playing.
They say it’s a myth that reaction speed slows down in your thirties, that it doesn’t happen until much later in life. If that’s the case, I’d really like to know why exactly I am no longer able to consistently DP Claw’s and Blanka’s jumps in ST.
Smart stuff. Gotta know when to fold em.
That short stint of playing 3S got me the cleanest AA game for absolutely no reason.
@Dayaan still caught me with the empty jump parry anyway. Of course I’d improve on the one thing that means fuck all in 3S.
