Best dudley color by far.

but I can’t get fightcade to run smoothly. I’ll have to tinker around, but it’s not good.

Also, tell me why SA wouldn’t be a better punish? Isn’t Akuma negative there?

Very. I don’t know why the Dudley did that. He built enough bar to kill off of 3 5050s. Weirdo. Now if I was there, assuming I got the full parry, I’ll 100% do backthrow, because Gouki vs Dudley in the corner is almost a free win if the Dudley has 3 bars.

Did he have the time to sweep? Cause then he’d be able to carry to the corner and kill off a 50/50 more or less.

Also, I don’t really know what I’m talking about lol

Thought about it, might of been a negative edge situation. With all them parries, he might of been going for super and fucked it up lol

Eh, that wouldn’t really be all that good. Why take the risk? If you’re opting for a same side play, just doing super will achieve the same thing and is foolproof, and goes into the same 5050s. Also, if the Gouki QRs from the sweep combo, he has more time to go for a wakeup Demon Flip or teleport, which would neuter the 5050, but still maintain the Dudley advantage. In that situation, your best option is to either backthrow or super, with my opinion favouring the super. I’d only backthrow to kill in 2 touches instead of 1, and only because it’s round 1 and I’d need meter for round 2.

He’s losing pretty bad, no point in saving meter if you don’t have the life lead imho :woman_shrugging:

It’s not a risk, because if I get a back throw, I have corner and the same 5050 mix, and if I use the supers for damage, it would take 2 supers instead of all 3. Basically I’m doing the same thing, but with less expenditure.

word.

But I’m convinced this dude was mashing super and got ex jet upper.

I know that’s what I would do lol

Oh yeah you might be right. Seems off that he’d parry all of that to intentionally go for the scroob play. That’s me about 90% of the time.

Real nerd energy is knowing that Gouki can cancel the first hit of Tatsu into super, and if this guy did that, he would have messed up the Dudley’s parry timing, and even if the Dudley were to parry the super, the Gouki could do crossup Tatsu so that Dudley would have to parry both ways at separate rhythms. Then, the Gouki can still juggle into another Tatsu, get maximum corner carry, and get a guaranteed taunt with air fireball oki.

Also, instead of delayed pressure, if the Gouki chose to just superjump in, he can parry once in the air as an OS, and if the Dudley did a QR into DP, Gouki can parry it. If it’s EX DP, he can react and parry the rest. If nothing happens, Gouki can kara throw and restart pressure.

Calling Akuma Gouki

I will not be made fun of by (presumably) someone who calls Claw “Vega.”

I live in America, speak 'Merican, and call that snake-tattoo-having, pony-tail-having, mask-wearing pervert his American name!

If you aren’t gonna call him by his American name shouldn’t you refer to him as Balrog instead of Claw?

Because - guiltily - Balrog will always be a boxer to me.

M. Bison is actually the best name for him tho lol
