The Sensational She-Hulk #1: Haters Went Wild

Having a real hard time trying to OTG with torpedo. Is there some kind of trick or do you have to be fast cause as fast as I do it they always seem to get up before I hit them?

Its been answered before on this thread but I got this one. You need to delay the S attack after the launcher so that you fall with your opponent. Mastering this technique is Key because it helps you alot with other OTG setups. Also if you need to do an otg assist i.e. Mission mode 10 it is easier to input the command for the runners stance along with the assits.

So right as you land. Down+P1 -> Down+S -> Forward -> M… yada yada yada.

I use She Hulk/Dormammu/X23. I use dark portal from dormammu as a cover/cross up assist, I use ankle slice for unblockable set up attempts with x23. However I am thinking of dropping X23 (she’s just not my style) for either Super Skrull(tenderizer) or Iron man (unibeam) as additional cover assists, too bad super skrulls assists suck with exception of tenderizer vs sent.

I had a feeling I was gonna like She-Hulk, and I was right. It feels weird to go from Fuerte who has a low damage output to this sexy beast who hits like a Sunday driver.

Props for landing that shit. I’m way too lazy to even practice it lol. Dunno why the guide’s damage is wrong though. It’s still alot for her for 1 lvl.

For She Hulk teams I only been playing fanboy stuff:

She Hulk / Thor / Hulk
She Hulk / Hulk / Phoenix

Thor is by far the weakest link on that one team. Dude gets rushed down like crazy and his normals suck. Waaaaayyyyy too slow. His main value is for DHCs since he can land Tornado super after She Hulk’s full Emerald Cannon. It’s a nice amount of damage (a little over 7k IIRC).

I have a much easier time winning with Phoenix in his place though. Phoenix is fucking ridiculously fun. She’s a nice change of pace since the Hulks need to get in, but she can zone like crazy. DPH is retarded. Sooooo much chip damage on everything. I really gotta put some effort into learning her. She Hulk has been pretty good for building the meter, mainly due to her command grabs. Once I land a command grab I do my launch into air series into air tag. If you guys didn’t know, if you air tag with :d::s: you automatically advance to the next bar of super meter. If you air tag with :f::s: or :b::s: then you get a half bar of meter. With all that being said, I still need to use the Phoenix team against some really good players. I may just be getting lucky right now. :rofl:

To make this post relevant, note that you can efficiently do Torpedo by inputting :d:, :d:+:s:, :f:+:l:. You can efficiently cancel by inputting :d:, :d:+:s:, :f:+:s:.

I’ve been running her with doom/storm and it works pretty damn well. hidden missile assist is godlike.

What’s the timing for her drop kick hyper? I can hardly link the three attacks.

it’s pretty lenient. as long as you input the qcf+S before the attack she’s performing ends, the following attack should come out. the only one you might have trouble with is the third attack, since the second attack crosses up sometimes.

yeah, he gave me a tip, use doom rocks over hidden misses for push block shenanigans. you get push blocked off a low M or H, H command grab with doom rocks will put you right back in there.

What do you guys feel is She-Hulk’s best assist?

I love landing her stun grab into emerald cannon. It’s almost like playing Starcraft 2: go for the guaranteed damage.

I gotta get an arcade stick before this analog stick destroys my hands. SF4 Zangief this ain’t.

It depends on what you want I guess but it would be a toss up between Torpedo, for mix up and unblockable set up, or Somersault kick, for fast safe anti-air assit. Clothesline is the worst unless time proves me wrong.

Cr.L-Cr.M-Cr.H-S-m-m-h-s-torpedo-dropkick hyper all 3 commands after the last hit connects wolverine weapon x hyper catches and since lv.3 aren’t dmg. scaled it kills…something like 1mil. dmg (it kill supper skrull) if you play wolvy with shulkie

edit: also some things I found more combos to end and character switch safely :
characters involved: doom, wolverine
Shulkie bnb (low magic-Ariel series-torpedo-dropkick hyper—then after the second hit use dooms dp hyper, adds damage keeps them in the air and doom is safely in. dmg is around 600k i think two hypers.

also same set up and above but with wolverine as partner 1 after 3rd hit of dropkick hyper if you dont wanna use 4 hyper bars substitute wolverines weapon x hyper use his beserker hyper.

ey guys, she hulk can kara grab INCREDIBLY with crouching H (slide). Do it to get the other dude to block or jump, then cut it short with a light or medium command grab and…free combo.

extremely sexy and easy way to get in to do a level 3 hyper. this is bad!

Would Tron with Rocks be a good assist for She-Hulk? Deadpool works in a way that just doesn’t suit me compared to She-Hulk and Ammy.

Jump in H, S, crouching magic series, Launch, M, M, H, S(sort of slow), RStorpedo, Drop Kick Hyper. I got 616,800 damage out of it.

On the TAC reset, damagewise I’m finding it better to launch then do only j.:h::s: into :d::h: TAC cancel instead of :m::h::s:. Here are the best damage combos I’ve found, all tested on Cap:

:d::h:, :s:, j.:h::s:, :d::h: TACc :d::h::s: j.:m::m::h::s: OTG torpedo (501,700, ~3,000 more than using j.:m::h::s:)

A Command grab (add 50k for C grab), clothesline, :d::h:,:s: j.:h::s:,:d:h:, TACc, :d::h:,:s: j. :m::m::h::s:, OTG torpedo 389k

c. magic series, :s: j.:h::s:, :d::h:, TACc, :d:h::s:, a:m::m::h::s:, OTG torpedo 475k

sticking a j.:m: in the air series drops anywhere from 3k to 9k from the combo.

Also, during c.magic series, :s:, if you delay the :s: slightly you end up on the other side of them. Useful if you have your back to the corner.

I’m finding Tron to be a good partner for Shulk. Gustaff fire assist it is hard to hit her and provides excellent cover, it eats beams and most projectiles. Shulk torpedo assist sets up some unblockable stuff with Tron. No DHC stuff here though.

Super Skrull I’ve been using some, both his Lv 1 supers combo off of 3 hit dropkick for good damage. Stone smite is decent as an assist. Ranged and on hit you can dash :s: and combo.

Spidey is alright too. You can DHC Max spider into dropkick which is nice since it’s hard to DHC into Shulk. Dropkick DHC’s into Max Spider after 2 hits also. Shulk torpedo sets up some nice unblockables from for Spidey. Unfortunately all of Spidey’s assists are pretty ass.

Also Sent drones/Doom rocks/ Cold Star/ Hsien Ko pendulem/ etc. basicaly anything that covers and leaves them grounded on hit is a good assist for Shulk. Allows her to run at them and clothesline if the assist hits or cancel into grabs if it gets blocked.

I’ve settled on doom/morrigan. doom rocks just works really well when trying to stay in on someone, they are also useful in some pretty nice combo’s I’ve found. He also partners well with her simply for his range game, if you’re having trouble getting in on a zone team just switch to doom. morrigan is really just for her meter gaining assist and to balance the team out. you can get an easy 900-1 mil damage using her lv 3 super after a she hulk bnb into air exchanges.
