I was considering giving Shulkie a spin once I got this game, but I figured I’d ask ahead of time, she’ll need a cover assist, but how badly does she need an AAA? I was thinking of using Spidey(Web Ball)/Shulk(Torpedo)/Hsien(Gong). But if she needs an AAA, I might change it around…
I don’t really think she needs an antiair assist, her antiair grab super is invincible and has a huge grab range. She might need a get-off-me assist on the ground, but we’ll see.
UltraDavid did you happen to see anyone using Hulk’s Gamma Wave assist? I’ve seen it in various vids, but I’ve yet to see it clash with other projectiles.
I very much intend on repping a She Hulk / Thor / Hulk fanboy team haha. I’m just hoping Hulk’s Gamma Wave assist will be a decent projectile that will help her (and Thor) close the distance. I wonder if she can :d::h: slide behind it as well.
well I might end up using Hsien-ko’s Pendulum instead of Gong, that assist looks evil with Hsien-ko’s DF on, plus it’s so large it makes it easy to hide mixups, which would help Spidey on point too…
Edit: I just realized nothing I said here pertained to what I mentioned before, I’m too distracted for this right now, lol
I meant to mention that Pendulum with DF might be a good ghetto AAA, considering it’s altitude and armor
I don’t get the chance to browse the forums much but does any know her damage tier?Is she on par with the big guys or does she take the default damage?
I’m thinking Haggar’s lariat should definately fit that bill.
Shulkie (low assist) / Haggar (lariat) / Hulk (gamma wave)
She hulk is so my version of marvels makoto. Tick throws, 50/50 and frame traps all day.
her slide torpedo goes under projectiles!!! :)))))
She-Hulk vs. Spencer Marvel vs. Capcom 3 showdown : News : EventHubs.com
just read it thats good news!
Nice, that is definitely welcome news, btw anyone know what her health is looking like? Did capcom tax her for being female?
Rogue and Tron both have above average health. Mostly because Rogue is actually a hardy individual and Tron is in a robot. Plus they are not your typical “quick rushdown” characters like Ibuki, Chun-Li etc etc. So I would assume She-Hulk would have AT LEAST average health if not above average health.
I think she has above average. From what I’ve seen so far, the top health tiers are:
Sentinel
Hulk
Thor
Haggar
She Hulk
Captain America
Spencer
Tron
Ryu
Chris
Wesker
etc
Good to know, I thought as much but you can never be sure with capcom.
so what combos are possible after overhead?
after watching the videos for the assists it looks like lei lei might not be good for projectile defense im thinking sentinal hulk or amaterasu maybe a beam special will help like iron man…
Well I wouldn’t say that, I just think it’ll require more skill now. Besides what did you expect? Its a projectile that reflects other projectiles, Im just glad we still got it as an assist.
I wouldn’t be depending on Haggar’s Lariat assist for a “get off me” tool. Even as an assist Haggar loses life while performing the Lariat.
Why? If it has invincibilty full throttle, will be fine and will allow him to heal in the assist slot. Serve as a pretty good GTFO
Lariat should be a great GTFO assist (especially for anti air), AND a good lockdown assist. Yea you can’t abuse it due to health loss, but w/e. He’ll recover the health fairly quickly, and you hopefully won’t need to spam it anyway.
I’d also like to know what combos She Hulk can do after her :f::h: overhead. I imagine she can combo into launcher or dropkick super, but that’s all I can think of. She doesn’t have any specials she can combo into besides somersault kick, and that’s worthless for combos IMHO.
Yeah, it actually looks really good as a “GTFO” move. It’ll be good for the occasional “GTFO”, but if you try to use it constantly (spam) to ward off a constant pressure character like Wolverine, X-23, etc. it won’t be quite as good. Also, if you try to abuse it, your main gets dropped and he gets forced to come in, you can kiss the red health all goodbye. I really should have said, “…just don’t expect to abuse it.” As far as a occassional “GTFO” it does seem extremely good.
The way I see it is that it should (in theory) immediately allow you to change the momentum in your favor. If you use it as AA and the opponent gets hit, then you should be following up with a free combo. If the opponent blocks it instead then you should be able to pressure him/her while they are stuck in blockstun. I’m hoping that’s how it will turn out. I think it’ll be like Chun legs with invincibility (minus a hit or two).
