I suppose supers in this game aren’t meant for countering, unless it’s specifically a counter-super like Wesker’s. They’re better off saved for your offensive strategies, DHCs, and KFCing.
I think lvl 3 supers actually have invulnerability, but lvl 1s don’t. I could be wrong though.
From what I’ve seen in the various vids, she has 4 wall jump followups:
- Dropkick that causes wall bounce
- Cross-chop that causes ground bounce
- Senton bomb (butt splash) that doesn’t cause any followup
- Wall jump cancel by hitting E.
I dunno what’s the point of the senton bomb, since the other attacks will put the opponent in a juggle state. Maybe it’s the only wall attack that hits overhead?
I would appreciate it more if anyone can share the feedbacks.

Well for one you could indent this picture in the OP
http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a17/rodasmax/shehulk-620x.jpg
and if you want I could try to find all the she-hulk videos.
I’m no good at making flashy banners, but for her movelist, you should use this gem (by RiceSRK) as a reference: http://i.imgur.com/PBBhY.jpg
oh right, i keep forgetting about the normal dropkick, cause i always just think of the super version. does the senton bomb go father than the splash? or are they about the same range-wise? maybe one is better on block? if not, then you’re probably right about senton bomb; it’s hardcore telegraphed.
maybe it would be easier if you just updated it first and then took constructive comments, editing accordingly.
I agree with this so far. From what I saw, most supers mashed out get stuffed. One time I did see a Viper super beat something (not lvl3) Also, I believe some lvl 3 supers are either 1) Invincible for a couple or frames or 2) Come out pretty much instant. Zero’s lvl3 and Viper’s Super come to mind in one of the CES videos where he plays Justin.
Can’t wait to see everyone’s health in comparisons since it seems most assists just get ass raped from Supers *cough Hail Storm
Also, I remember one of the twitter leaks saying Phoenix Wright was in her ending, well when you win with her, her quote is something to the extent of “Someone once said I looked like a buffed out green Phoenix Wright” I lol’d
Nice video I just saw, a little she-hulk gameplay, not anything special
Hey guys, got some clarification from Seth via PM on the Unity forums. I asked about the Runner Stance, anti-air super, and dropkick super. Here are the responses:
So it looks like she won’t be able to grab people outta hitstun with anti air super. Kinda bummed, but I guess the good thing is that it’ll do full damage in resets as opposed to having its damage reduced by combo scaling.
Being able to relaunch after her dropkick super sounds verryyyyy interesting. As mentioned before, the dropkick does cause a wallbounce so she can probably cr.C slide into launcher. This may give her the option to do some looonngggg combos if my theories hold up.
Sucks that runner stance has no armor, but I’m glad to finally get a confirmed answer on it. Now I can stop bothering people about it hahaha :lol:
Thanks, Bronzefist. It’s nice to get a confirmation on those things. I guess we’ll have to stick with her dropkick super for DHC’ing her in. Interesting tidbits about the dropkick super though, it might actually be one of the best level 1 supers out there with its high damage and all the options you have afterwards.
Gawd, I felt so lazy with my OP. I updated basic things to the list, and I will massively update it when I get more informations on She-Hulk.
I hope we get a demo vid from either Keits or Seth sometime soon.
Anyway, something different I noticed about She-Hulk’s torpedo assist towards the end of this vid:
Her low assist sends the opponent flying from which they can recover in the air. I’m guessing the same thing happens when you use it as an OTG, I wonder if you can combo after just as well like with Wesker’s gun shot assist?
Well if your still looking for ideas, I recently went to the dormammu thread and it has to be the best written OP of any of the character threads i have bothered posting in.
Yea I been thinking about torpedo in combos as well–both as an assist, and with her on point.
I have no doubt that you can combo after the assist version, but you’ll need to hit the opponent while he is still tumbling in the air. I’m pretty sure that the opponent won’t be able to block until he flips out of it. In theory it should be a great assist for characters who can’t OTG by themselves and I’m anticipating that it can be followed by the character’s launcher, so you’ll see something like:
air series–>E–>torpedo assist (OTG)–>launcher–>etc
The big question I have is what She Hulk can do when using torpedo on point. We know she can torpedo xx Dropkick super. However what about other combos for when she doesn’t have meter? I can’t think of any that only involve her. I think she have to rely on her partners’ assists to extend the combo. So she’ll have to do something like:
air series–>E–>torpedo (OTG)–>partner’s assist–>launch
I’m sure she’ll also have partner assists that don’t allow her to launch, but will give her a reset. If it’s an assist that uses up her 2nd available OTG, then I imagine it’ll give her some AA grab reset opportunities (among other things).
Right now I’m still planning on running her on point with Thor & Hulk as partners. So what I’ve been wondering for that team is how Thor’s Mighty Smash assists will fit in the above the combo (after torpedo). Mighty Smash causes a ground bounce on the last hit, so I think it will use up the 2nd OTG, and cause an air reset–which should give She Hulk the opportunity for an AA grab or something else (like dash/run under opponent and start low magic series). If the Mighty Smash does not use up the 2nd OTG then I’m pretty sure she’ll be able to launch the opponent for another air series. However the scenario turns out, I’m sure she’ll have options.
Ultimately that’s the kind of stuff I been thinking about now–how to incorporate my teammates assists into her combos (and vice versa). I’d also like to figure out the strongest combos she can do without assists, and without using super or X-Factor. From what I can see, she seems limited to air series–>E–>torpedo.
I’m praying that Tasky’s overhead is also one of his assists.
I really wanna try him with Shulkie. People will rage, and I love when that happens.
For a second there I thought this thread title said Sentinel lol…
link from front page (thanks UltraDavid):
from runner’s stance:
light = torpedo
medium = clothesline
heavy = sommersault
E = cancel
from wall jump:
light = splash
medium = drop kick
heavy = senton bomb
E = cancel
good to finally know the corresponding buttons for her attacks. also, thanks bronzefist for the PM to seth.
jump to 2:05 I mean what do you guys think?
She can set up a launcher from there and go into an air combo string. Or go instantly into anti air super. I think thats going cause some people headaches. To go into that move then into super, do the first follow up to the super. Then you can for anti air super. Jeez she got some crazy set-ups from what I can see. This also makes her more team hyper friendly. You can do the Missile drop kick super then do the first input for the belly flop, then cancel into say Morrigan’s finishing shower. Thats quite a bit of damage. Still shes going to be terrible for 3 way team simultinuous hypers, but we can work with cancellations supers instead.
We also probably have the one of the easiest level 3 set ups too. Charge grab into (knee) dizziness into instant sunday driver. What! Thats insane. I don’t wanna give away everything I’am thinking though. I have a feeling so many of these She-Hulk haters are going to be jumping on the band wagon.
that would be done as follows
:d::d::snkc:, :l:, :snkb: In the new vid on the frontpage all those elements are still in.
it still works. we don’t know if AA super catches off a wallbounce (not sure if that counts as hitstun or not?) until someone confirms it. would be nice though.
in one of the recent videos () it looks like it sorta groundslams maybe for an OTG. probably with an assist though, since she might not recover in time
