People keep recommending Viper, lol… I’d rather crucify my own penis than use Viper.
The thing with lockdown assists is that they allow you to extend your offensive pressure much easier than a quick single hit assist. Other characters may very well have better options from lockdown assist, but I wouldn’t discount them for her. Considering how good pushblock looks in this game, I think they’ll end up being very valuable.
I dunno about her own pushblock though. I think some people are saying that different characters react to pushblock in different ways? IIRC someone was saying that Hulk doesn’t get knocked as far back as the other characters. Dunno if it’s true though.
Right now I dunno what to say about her defense. As mentioned, I think she’ll be good by herself when it comes to anti air, since she has a standard AA grab, an AA super grab, and the AA flashkick (for which the recovery can be safely canceled into wall jump). For ground defense she may need an assist, like many other characters. I’m personally not worried cause I’m gonna rep DAT HULK and his Gamma Charge assists got super armor. :smokin:
Why the viper hate if you don’t mind me asking?

wwhhhoooaaahhhhh @ 1:40. Her anti-air super grab is damn near full screen. Waaaaayyyyy better than I thought I observed before. I’m very happy to be wrong. :wgrin:
Hmm, still brain storming here, anyone come up with any theoretical set-ups for her AA super? Im thinking maybe you start a combo into her launcher but instead of jumping up and following through you stay down and super their ass. Just a thought, what do y’all think?
Didnt realize her drop kick super was multi part input.
Bronzefist posted a setup a couple pages back that theoretically makes sense right now, but it would need to be tested first. Other than that, i’m hoping hyper grabs CAN be combo’d into, so you can DHC into it, but there’s no confirmation yet.
I’m glad to see the massive range on the AA super. I was beginning to doubt its viability when compared to the AA stun grab.
If it works like ‘Final Justice’ or ‘Weapon X’, then I think it can definitely be DHC’d into.
What’s the command? Cause I was wondering myself.
it’s different since it’s a “grab”. final justice and weapon x have the requirement that you land the initial hit. generally, grabs and hits have different properties when used in combos. provided the previous hit caused enough hitstun, the following “hit” will practically always connect, whereas a “grab” generally whiffs if the opponent is still in hitstun (goes for supers too). we don’t really know for sure though how her AA super works, but it would be nice if you could DHC into it instead of just out of it.
i don’t think anyone for sure knows yet. even during the CES vids, it looked like people we’re hitting with the dropkick super, but no one could figure out the follow-ups.
Yea she gotta have some alternative options after hitting with the dropkick super. There’s got to be a reason why it didn’t go into the belly/butt splash followups automatically. What’s interesting is that the dropkick makes the opponent wall bounce. I wonder if she has the option of moving around before the opponent hits the ground? Maybe she can dash in and launch them into a juggle? Although I didn’t see anyone move after landing it in the recent vids, so I dunno…
Yeah, I think that would really count on the distance that it wall bounces. I wonder… that would so awesome if that was the case.
(somewhat) massive update might coming to the OP this week or next week, depend on my situation.
I don’t mind to ask someone to help me with the OP, since I want to make it flashy so I would like to have some banners that would split up the topic like,
Banner - She-Hulk (bigger version with name and picture of her in)
Banner - Basic
Banner - Alternative Color/Costume
Banner - Moveset
Banner - Combo
I was thinking of Greenish color with purple font, or something like that.
If you have better idea, please input your ideas and we can see what we can discuss.
edited: I just checked SSF4 and MVC3 specific characters thread, and I guess it was no necessary to make the OP flashy and shiny just like She-Hulk. (Feedbacks are welcome, tho.)
looks like her dropkick super won’t be getting used as a reversal:
it didn’t even trade :shake:
Yep.
Goro Daimon like.
supers dont have much if any invicibility
yeah i heard that supers and assists lost all of that. i just… didn’t want to believe it  i wanted my GTFODROPKICKINYOURFACE super reversal
Thinking the dropkick super will have multiple inputs. CES vids part three I think Ultramike did two new wall jump moves. Unsure though. Maybe different moves after dropkick depending on the input.
you mean the follow-ups he did from the somersault kick? i think it was mentioned a page or two back that she has 3 follow-ups to her walljump: a splash (belly flop), a senton bomb (butt drop), and a cancel (she just drops straight down after touching the wall). i’m not really sure if the follow-up to dropkick super is limited to the pattern we’ve seen so far (dropkick>splash>senton)
