Watched Episode 11 in Japanese. My Japanese is still pathetic so I didn’t understand more than one word out of 10, but it’s Sengoku Basara, so I really didn’t need to.
Ep 12 is subbed, and filled in any holes in my understanding of the previous ep.

Yeah last Tuesday when I checked 11 still wasn’t subbed. Monday / Tuesday is usually when I watch online anime. I’ll check again next week.

It’ll be on PS3, you kidding me? It’s part of the series mainline unlike battle heroes which is kind of a “dream match” kinda thing, the 3rd Basara HAS to be on a console to even hope to contain all that awesome.
Yeah, the fucking rise of the Tokugawa shogunate in 1600! that’s going to be epic. The fucking BATTLE OF SEKIGAHARA in 1080p 1000’s of soldiers on screen. Infinite draw distance and persistent bodies…drools

This is the same Capcom that chickened out on making Monster Hunter HD. And that IP is definitely more “important” than even their other “shining new star” in Sengoku BASARA, a series that has yet to break the “million mark” with any one game, much less “combined series sales”.
We’ll see, though. But personally? I sincerely doubt a series that didn’t even have MOVING MOUTHS for their in-game, PS2-quality 3D models, will make a jump to HD just that quickly. And maybe it might be for the best that way…

Not that I really care about the PS3/Wii thing since I have both systems and I’m fine just playing Sammy’s 2D fighter on my modded PS2 + watching the anime (especially if the main series never comes out in the US again). But part 3 will have 3D Character Speech Animation Creation Service, which will mean their mouths will move and stuff. HD? Not HD? Well probably won’t make much of a difference either way, I think the Wii can handle this much.

Yeah, watched the last two episodes as well and it was pretty epic.

Awesome seeing Tadakatsu back once again during the final battle. Also, I thought the fights were one of the best in these last two eps; more notable Masamune and Yukimura’s duel with Nobunaga. Like it how everyone else managed to help them out in the end; even Motochika and Motonari and came and helped.
Since Nobunaga and co. were wiped out, that means that Hideyoshi might be the big baddie for Season 2.
Overall, I quite enjoyed the show. Characters were totally like in the game and the battles didn’t dissapoint for the most part.
Looking forward for season 2 next year!
The best part of the last episode was that Nobunaga was killed by Blue and red energy adn then he turned into sparkles.
It was ridiculous and awesome.
In case you guys didnt know the OST is out. Nobunaga’s theme as we all know is just too godly.

Yeah, I never saw that kind of stuff happened in the game. Same with Akeichi being vaporized.

Surprised to say this, but he managed out-orgasm Kasuga; and you know how much she does whenever Kenshin praises her.
Speaking of Kasuga, she actually looks a lot more feminine now in the last few episodes! I liked how they treated her dynamic with Sasuke - always good for a laugh for two.
Oh yeah, shouldn’t there be a 13th DVD only ep too? I wonder if it’ll be comedy based.

Personally, I’m hoping that it actually does more to either a) focus on the Motos (Motonari and Motochika) and/or b) sets up for next season with Hideyoshi.
Any way, it’s safe to presume that by the time second season is ready to air, SB3 will be out, wherever it’s destined to touch down. It will be an awesome time to be a BASARA fan, certainly… :wgrin:
Just watched episode 12, perfect way to end the first season. Still lots of characters left for next year (Is Oichi alive or dead? Fumma’s probably still alive, right?) - here’s hoping for more Keiji, more Dragon Tanks, and some Hideyoshi / Hanbei villainy!
