That is right isurus.
Strip the wire, insert stripped end into Quick Disconnect.
Then you crimp it with Crimper, or use pliers if you have to.
Any prong on Sanwa Button can act as Signal or Ground.

Just received the Seimitsu LS-56-01 with the PCB and wiring harness and have a non-common ground Xbox 360 PCB, i need to cut the traces on the Seimitsu LS-56, is there a diagram that illustrates where to cut the trace?
Hi kandiman.
I remember helping you with cutting Trace of Sanwa JLF.
Now you are on to a Seimitsu LS-56-01.
Laugh.
Since you know what to do from before.
I make picture like last.

Iām sure you know what to do from there.
Have fun.
Hey JDM thats right you helped me on the JLF i finished that one and works perfect
Now iām gona try seimitsu best of both worlds, thanks for the picture =D
Oh are the directionals UP DOWN LEFT RIGHT the same as this ?
I have a question about Sanwa and Seimitsu buttons.
What makes them feel differently?
Is it the springs in the micro switches?
Is it the button frame itself? or something else?
If it is the springs can they just be switched to achieve Sanwa level sensitivity? All this would require is to disassemble the micro switches. I canāt get my hands on Seimitsu buttons to try myself so just asking.
Thanks!
does anyone know if you can mod the seimitsu l2-32-01 like the jlf so i can put an extra spring in it
No, not same.
Not same because UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT depends on how the PCB is oriented.
But my Pin-to-Microswitch is exactly the same.
Compare my picture to TheRealNeoGeoās picture and would see.
the seimitsu 32 the most popular for fighting games and cloest to the sanwa jlf series?
Whatās the site to buy Seimitsu parts from? (If itās the Akihabara, then sorry. The link didnāt work for me)
Normally a sticks neck should show 24mm right so how much different would mounting a jlf with a mounting plate make if i mounted a 32-01 with a s plate make? like 20mm off?
LS-32 w/ s-plate: bottom of plate to bottom of ball top = 33.85mm (6.35mm+27.5mm)
JLF w/ flat plate: bottom of plate to bottom of ball top = 34mm
So mount the bottom of the plates at the same depth. Should only have to raise the LS-32 if using a flat plate.
awesome thanks, what about the jlf with an s mounting plate?
Hey JDM i cut the traces, wired it all up, works perfect, thanks for your awesome help :bgrin::bgrin::bgrin:
YAY!
No problem kandiman. :lovin:
I read up to, āHey JDM i cut the traces, wired it all up,ā and thought something bad happened.
Laugh.
Then I continued reading; all is cool.
What is the diameter of a JLF dust cover?
38.1mm it is.
Whats the lowest a shaft can show without causing game problems? I know 23-24mm is normal
Can anyone confirm the height of an OBSN-30 button - 17mm? The PDF provided has fuzzy diagram of the measurements. Iām planning on using a 2mm acrylic faceplate and 3mm MDF backing plane along the same lines as Slagcoinās idiot box, is it possible to use them or should I use Seimitsus instead?
[edit]hmm, just found Slagcoinās table - 11mm install thickness, seems to be okā¦?
Restrictor Gates
I was wondering where I could find out what kind of restrictor gate comes stock with the Sanwa JLF-TP-8YT-SK stick?
Where can I find this information? If itās square 4-8 (like the one that comes stock in MadCatz SE FightStick), Iād like to purchase an 8-way hexagonal for it, because the 4-8 way diagonal just doesnāt do it for me, it doesnāt seem realistically smooth for gameplay.
I would assume that hexagonal would be better for SF in particular.
Whatās the consensus on a good restrictor gate ?
Edit - nevermind, found the answer immediately after posting. Sorry OP
Post edit - but Iād still like to know what the consensus is on an 8-way hexagonal if anyone has an opinion.
Hi guys,
Itās my first post on SRK :chat:
Just wondering if anyone knows what size screws are used on top of the JLW-TM-8 for holding the JLW-P-1B mounting plate and joystick to the base?
Iām trying to screw the stick in from top to the mayflash case. The stock screws I suspect are too short to hold the stick firmly on to the case so Iām gonna have to buy some new ones. Already bought 2 packs of screws which look near identical to the stock sanwa ones (apart from being longer) but they donāt seem to be screwing in. The threading and width of the screw look exactly the same though :looney: Dude at the hardware store was wrong twice now LOL so Iām hoping someone on here has run into the same situationā¦would be a whole lot easier.
Any help would be appreciatedā¦and I hope this is the right place to post this question.
