there is more people out here looking for competition than anyone thinks. i have been waiting a long time for a local tourney. i dont feel like hopping on a flight to vegas every time i want to play in a tourney. it doesnt even have to a tourney a place to play, pay 5 bucks or something to play all night or whatever
This is exactly what i wanted to happen. And this is exactly the kind of people i do this shit for. Tell everybody you know man. Good to have you aboard. If you can spot a system/t.v./anything i’d most appreciate it cuz every little bit helps :wgrin:

i could bring my xbox but it acts up all the time, i have to bear it because i play cvs2 online all the time, the only comp i can find around here. i think i have a tv. i dont know if anyone wants to play on an xbox or ps2s. depending on how long this thing goes on i might generate my own little fund for a ps2 so i can bring it reguarly. the fact that it might happen is exciting to me, maybe there is finally a scene out here
Well i’m going to try to help the sacramento scene for as long as i possibly can. I’m glad Ram was able to help out a lot with finding such a good spot and he’s had a lot of experience being host so this is really coming along nicely. Plus, there’s good people in sacramento, i’m sure of it, but you can’t find them all normally because there is no gathering or meeting place (arcade or w/e) for us all to play. Hopefully this Great Escape can be the start of something truly beautiful for sacramento. I’ve lived here all my life, so glad i could do something about this scene. :woot:
So, now that mostly everything is decided… anyone have a setup for recording these matches? That way it’ll be engraved into the annals of history :bgrin:

I’d just like to say that we should probably not get too roudy/loud and/or swear a lot. This is supposed to be a kid friendly store, so let’s make a good impression, people.

Although he does have a point though. Perhaps me and abraham will run down when they have a smash bros tourney and see how the crowd is, that way we can kinda gauge how loud we can be in that place. But from what i observed when we went over the place did seem pretty chill so i dunno if 60+ people loud and swearing is a good idea on the first day. But if thats generally what goes on with the smash bros tournies, then hell that just makes things better for us. :woot:

ok ok for real though. I have been there many many times for Magic and such so yeah we will definately have to keep the swearing down a bit and the noise to a min BUT over time maybe we can increase the noise little by little until we reach the loudest we can get! :tup:
