We will actually have one of each console: My PS3 and MINE’s XBox 360.
How is that going to work? For example, I have a PS3 stick (not dual modded yet) and say I only want to play my games on the PS3 because I really don’t want to use somebody else’s fight stick. Is that going to be a problem?
You’d probably just have to wait longer so you can play all your matches on PS3.

Honestly, I doubt it would be a problem. If you have a preference for PS3, i don’t mind you playing on it. Unfortunately, Tinh and I do not have the same console, but I’ve seen both xbox’s and ps3’s run at Romeo’s TapEx tournies simultaneously without any problem. We’ll do our best to accommodate for everyone, but we can only do so much given our limited resources. I would say just be prepared in case you have to play on 360.
If this problem causes causes too much stress/confusion in the future, I may end up bringing my 360 because I have one as well (i just don’t have UMVC3 for it, but i’m sure i can borrow it from someone), that way we can have a tournament standard like other tournaments.
My bad dude, don’t mean to find loopholes I don’t mean to cause stress/confusion. Don’t even sweat it, I’m just gonna dualmod my stick sometime this month.

Just a thought; if I alternated TapEx monthlies from Friday to Saturday each month (eg, Friday TapEx in January, Saturday TapEx in February, back to Friday next month, etc), would it increase attendance? For those who come on Fridays, would you guys still come? And for those who can’t make it on Fridays due to obligations, would you be willing to come on a Saturday? I’ve noticed both on the forums and in person that some people prefer Saturday tourneys for this reason. Please let me know.
I think its worth a try, most tournaments are held on weekend days anyway. Either way, I’d still go on Fridays and Saturdays.
