I’m excited for SFxT. I have been practicing with Rufus in AE because I’m planning on trying him out first. Steve Fox looks interesting due to his wall and ground bounces. I’m hoping those two can make some sick tag cancels.
I know for a fact I’m playing King, but I don’t have a 2nd. I was leaning on Guile, but I’m also thinking Heihachi Mishima.

- Can I get the details of your session if you’ll allow me to come?
- I am thinking about getting the ASUS VH236H official EVO monitor. What is the recommended input(s) for Xbox 360 and PS3? Also under what settings for each console are used? Is there a list of standard settings available anywhere? If anyone could help me out with this, it would be greatly appreciated.
Console-wise: Use HDMI and the preset system defaults for each console and you should be good. You shouldn’t have to readjust the 720p output or 1080p output, etc because when you attach via HDMI, the console should auto-detect and select the best setting.
Monitor-wise:As far as I know, “Game Mode” on the monitor does not reduce post-processing, so feel free to adjust monitor settings to your liking.
Others in here might know more, but if you want more in-depth details, check the Tech Talk subforum.
If you are running HDMI through Xbox 360, you get the added bonus of PC resolutions (1280x720 and such) that should remove the post processing unlike the HDTV settings (720p, 1080p, etc.). Unfortunately, the PlayStation 3 doesn’t have that but as Romeo said, you just have to mess with monitor settings and also check Tech Talk to resolve the lag problem.
